The sights of Mallorca and Barcelona.

Over Fall Break, Joel, Hunter and I went to Spain to visit Madelynn and my niece Kendyl during their semester abroad. It was incredible to see these two young women thriving in a foreign country, and I loved seeing their apartment and some of the highlights in Barcelona. We also did a jaunt over to Mallorca, where I got to swim and enjoy some beautiful beaches.

Joel and I celebrated our 21st anniversary in Barcelona by renting bikes and giving ourselves a self-guided tour. by @lynnette_bellin

Soaking up every minute with @madelynnbellin before she leaves for college in 14 days! We last did this hike when she was 4 and was so exhausted by the time we got to Rainbow Falls that she was crying and wouldn't look at the falls. We made up for that today and also enjoyed Devil’s Postpile - columns made from lava that froze.

I introduce a series of photos I like to call “Following @madelynnbellin “. Her legs are much longer than mine, so I found myself walking behind her throughout Italy. I loved how confidently she explored the country, and am so glad I got this time with her before she leaves for college next month! Doing 1:1 trips with my kids has given us so many special memories!
