Some evenings remind me exactly why I love what I do. ❤️🏡

This evening, I walked over to my clients’ home to personally deliver some very exciting news… THEIR OFFER WAS ACCEPTED!

Five offers on the table, plenty of competition, and no way of knowing exactly how it would all unfold.

But with a wonderful team of professionals — a trusted loan broker, insurance broker, engineer, plumber, a very involved and supportive father, and a seasoned real estate agent with a few tricks up her sleeve — we made it happen!

This beautiful couple is going to be homeowners!

The screams of joy, the hugs, the sheer excitement… it was one of those moments I wish I could bottle up and save forever.

And perhaps my favorite little detail? Their sweet kitty came downstairs to investigate all the commotion, quietly observing the celebration. Little does that kitty know, there’s a whole new home to explore very soon!

People often think of real estate in terms of houses, investments, and building wealth. And yes, those things matter.

But to me, the greatest reward is something much deeper.

It’s helping people create a place where their lives will unfold. Where memories will be made, traditions will begin, friends and family will gather, and all the little moments that make up a lifetime will happen.

A home is so much more than four walls and a piece of land.

I feel incredibly fortunate to play a part in these milestones. And one of the loveliest benefits of my work is that I often get to watch my clients’ lives evolve over the years, long after the keys have changed hands.

Tonight, my heart is full.

And I find myself feeling grateful to those who came before me, for the gifts, instincts, determination, and talents they passed along. How fortunate I am to put them to work doing something that brings others so much happiness.

I was driving today, dictating a quick update to a client, and THIS is what came out! 🤣

Thank goodness my client has a great sense of humor!

WoW! What a SUPER FUN Saturday night! 🎶💙

First off, the weather was absolutely incredible — tank tops, sundresses and shorts were all that was needed, even outside at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. One of those perfect Bay Area evenings!

We started with an early dinner at Chez Panisse, had a little time to peruse the theater and take in the scene, and shared lots of laughs with friends Deborah and Pieter Bogaards.

And then… Jon Batiste! 🎹🎶 What an extraordinarily talented, creative and engaging musician. He and his incredible collection of musicians did not disappoint. There is such joy in watching him perform — his playfulness, spontaneity, connection with the audience and, most of all, his genuine love of music are infectious.

Such a joy to listen, watch, learn and simply be swept up in it all.

What could be better; friends, great food, a gorgeous Berkeley evening and phenomenal music — Saturday night done right! 💙🎶✨ by @lynnettekling

Last Weekend on the Avenue… 🏡🍷🐾
