I’ve seen sunsets like that in many places, Port Vila, Darwin, the Gold Coast, Hawaii, etc but the rest is unique to Africa 💓 by @lynnsanter

This morning there was a young man in the sauna (31, information he volunteered for some obscure reason) who asked, “Tell me everything about yourself.”
>> 😳
Seriously? I looked at him blankly for a moment before advising him that might take seven years.
He persisted, “Go on. Tell me some stories.”
>> 😳
He knew not what he asked 🤪
Sigh 😮‍💨
“Well, where are you from?” he continued.
>> 🙄
So, I reeled off London bla bla until I used the line many of you have heard me use before, “… then I did a 16 year sentence in Melbourne.”
Everyone has always known what I meant by that… until today.
He asked (are you ready for this?). He asked, “What did you get done for?”
It took me a second to realise what he meant 🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣. Nobody has ever asked me that before. Oh dear 🤦‍♀️
These young guys have a long way to go before they master the finesse of the silver foxes 😊
He got the message and scuttled off soon enough.
I wonder who I’ll meet tomorrow 🤔 by @lynnsanter

Both these best selling, multi award winning, anthropomorphic animal adventure novels about the wildlife of Lake Hugh Muntz are available for sale from Jennifer Grech with 100% proceeds going to swan rescue. And they’re signed by the author… that would be me 😁

For those who knew, loved, respected, admired, and were in awe of the incredible, big-hearted, tireless, passionate Neen Wilkins aka Marina Bonnett, her celebration of life is today at 4.30pm in the Dog and Parrot, 2 Scottsdale Drive, Robina. It would have been Neen’s 55th birthday today, and also her 30th wedding anniversary to Stephen. Please come and raise a glass and share a story, a photo, a video, and let’s celebrate the life of a lady whose legacy must now live on in the actions we take to honour what she started with Save Our Swans.
Forever in hearts 💕
‼️Please note: NOT Lake Orr but the Dog and Parrot. by @lynnsanter
