November 2nd- November writing goals!
•
Not all of these are writing specific but they are for my platform. I’m very excited to bring a bit more of myself to this account, as well as start some new projects. Also, if you’re a writer looking for a critique partner please DM me to see if we mesh. I only have one CP right now and she is wonderful, but more feedback is always good especially as I approach the next phases of editing. 🍁✍🏼

November 1st- Happy National Author Day!
•
My name is Lynnsey. I’ve been writing since I was 13. I love books, movies, tv shows. I’m a bit of a Disney adult as you can see, I love Spiderman, I’m an Oregon ducks fan, and I have a big goober of a dog named Zuko. I’ve been working on my current WIP Six Beacons since 2021 and I have many more ideas planned for the future. Thank you for supporting me on my journey ❤️

October 31st- happy Halloween!!
•
I cannot begin to tell you how much I’ve enjoyed this month. Posting every day was a challenge I set for myself and having completed it I feel I can do anything, silly as that may sound. I can’t wait for next month I have so many exciting things planned. So happy Halloween and party on!

October 30th- October Writing wins!
•
I want to thank all of my friends and family for supporting me through this process. Even though at times I’ve felt silly and even like a fraud everyone was liking and commenting to hype me up. I love you all, thank you so much ❤️

October 29th- what author would you summon for writing advice?
•
Kinda stole Jenna’s catch phrase at the end, my bad. I’ve been watching her videos a lot lately. I didn’t think I could read a nonfiction book but it really helps when the topic is one that you love. Do you know an author that gives great advice?

October 28th- Favorite Spooky Tropes
•
To be honest this prompt is not for me, but if it’s for you that’s great! Maybe someday I’ll brave the horror waters again but not today. Be sure to check out @kadenwatson11 he makes great movie content and I’m happy to be part of the movie club. Thanks for allowing me to enjoy horror movies at a distance 😅

October 27th- Chapters named or numbered?
•
I’ll say it again, BOTH!! Of course these chapter names could change, I changed a few just making this post. But I felt like such an ✨author✨ writing out my chapter titles like this. Also reminded me a bit of reading Percy Jackson. Comment your predictions or questions, or whose POV these chapters might be in 👀

October 26th- what item would summon my MC?
•
I interpreted this prompt as what would summon them immediately instead of what would make them come running.
Aspen- they love color, and I thought the opal was the perfect thing with all of its shifting colors.
Malia- she’s an artist at her core, even if it’s not what she spends most of the book doing.
Jasper- all he’s thought of for so long is his own freedom. Broken chains is what he seeks, and what would summon him.
Zarina- she’s a collector, and a tailor. If there’s one thing she loves it’s a trinket. The more unique the button, the better.

October 25th- pitching my WIP with no spoilers
•
I was gonna make a video about this but my microphone is acting up and I don’t have the energy or patience to figure it out right now. I’m sure there will be plenty more of me talking about my WIP so stay tuned and thank you for your understanding. by @lynnseyclarkwrites

October 24th- dreamy fall weekend
•
Unfortunately this is as dreamy as I can make it right now. Being sick really puts a wrench in your plans. I was gonna go to the farm, get some produce, see a pumpkin. But we do what we can with what we have, and I have a fall ambience YouTube video and a YA dystopian novel.

October 23rd- Which writing task you you make disappear?
•
Truthfully I am grateful for every part of the writing process, but who wouldn’t want to write a perfect first draft? In reality I don’t know if I would make this wish, because editing is where I learn so much but I could NEVER get rid of drafting. It’s my favorite part 🥰✍🏼

October 22nd- Plotter, Pantser, or somewhere in between?
•
I neglected to mention how I also use my character arcs in the outlining process. Oh well, I’ll get to it I’m sure. Anyway have a great day, and write for me because screens are giving me a headache. Oh! And follow @jennamoreci while you’re on here although if you’re seeing this idk why you’re not already following her.
