Because people don't know how to do research on strong female characters of the past who had their own main role. Always loved Xena and the Hercules series. I was reminded of it when I was at my parents place last night and they were watching reruns. I had a fan crush on Gabrielle xD

Got our order for the "Past in Cicely" from #kikagagoods and I got the one I wanted! He's probably super common but that means the odds were increased!

Why is one okay but not the other?

Just a disclaimer: I play both games and highly enjoy BOTH of them. I also don't care about all the rabble about "skin tone this or that" because at the end of the day, they're both games of fiction. I'm actually peeved about the hypocritical behaviour I see going around.

Games are not your representation factories and they can use whatever they want for inspiration, and change it to fit their fantasy games. Just because a character is named after a god in the real world, doesn't mean they have to look like that god.

Why is it when one game uses names only for their characters, there is a call to boycott and they get dragged, but another game does the same thing, while ALSO using the gods name and aesthetics, they get a free pass even after black-washing it too?

How come no one is boycotting #dislyte for doing what Genshin is being accused of with MULTIPLE characters? Only this is a step further than that if you actually care. Your double standards are showing.

From my point of view I see it only as hatred for Hoyo because ya'll feel betrayed because the game didn't do what you wanted or you didn't get enough free stuff. You fucking babies 😌❤️

ALL of these games have something in common: Their loud disruptive, single minded community members who ruin the experience for others, and bully those who like something they hate. They will end up eating each other while normal players sit and watch, and enjoy all three games while they do.

Wuthering Waves will be the new toy until they too, will become hated like the rest. All it takes is one mistep.
Good luck Wurhering Waves devs!
