The Struggle is real on this moose hunt. G Bears shopping for dinner in camp. Moose not calling back. Wind and weather and rain. Hurry up and wait. Actually, just the way we all like it. Unpredictable, Challenging yet Rewarding. Laughs that make you cry. Campfires and Cards with stories told from times gone by. I wouldn’t change a thing except I would stay longer. Fly in hunts are un predictable. You take a flight when you get flights. This one was me, solo to get into camp to get our deluxe wall tent set up at a minimum. Atleast we get one flight in.

Deluxe wall tents are typically a 2 person set up. I have some tricks to help solo set ups. Wait for our YouTube video for those.

Mountain weather and mid to late season moose hunting in British Columbia is challenging at times. Hurry up and wait comes to mind on many occassion.

Moose camp is one of the favorites for me.

Get together with your friends. Share the camp fire with stories past and present. Making new stories and new memories that you just dont forget.

Steeped in my families tradition of hunting for food, i carry forward this healthy life style, knowing where your food comes from, and being completely responsible for all of it.

This is a short share of our 2026 fly in moose hunt. It was met with real wildlife challenges from both predator and prey.

These trips are always a success. Success is just being healthy enough to take part in the great outdoors and experience what mother nature has to share.

A crib board, Hawkins Cheesies, a fire are nothing better while.you wait for your float plane.

What a great couple of days in the mountains. The views, the air, the stars around a camp fire, and the rams kept us busy. 25 years of research put us onto sheep when it mattered, Early in the hunt.

The pack out leaves a lot to be desired no doubt. I still feel my sore knee today as I put this together.

We are truly blessed to be able to hunt and harvest these majestic animals. Thank you from all of us we will enjoy this meat over the fire this fall. I know we will have tall tales around the camp fire with some of you.

Marty Thomas has hunted sheep his whole life. Guided many hunters on their dream hunts. 128 successful Stone Sheep hunts to be exact. This was his turn to have some help from some friends. At 68 years young He went up and down and made it to the finish line. Not with a bunch of moans and groans that couple double as a soft porn at times I guess.

Lindasy, Robbie and Marty I had an absolute blast and really look forward to sharing a camp fire with you all again. Like fish stories I hope they grow with time. Many laughs and many more foot steps. by @lyons.colin

Meal prep for the wins this week for Jacob. Onions, Garlic, paprika, Sea Salt and Pepper, small portion of pasta sauce, Jacob likes Beef with Moose Meat, well completely convert him yet. And he loves Bacon. Hotts live it when they want to look after their health. Jacob is eating well and I am off fishing to Nootka Sound to finish the Salmon Season with Lets Go Guided by @lyons.colin

Late Season fall deer hunts with these two have been the best. Introducing our families tradition of hunting each fall to Adrian has brought back so many childhood memories of great times. You get something everytime you go out. You just have to be open to recieve it what ever it is.
