(EN) Lyra Boto (b. 1994) lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal. In her practice, she deconstructs the assumed stability of the human condition, reframing it as a site of continual transformation and poetic flux. Exploring how we navigate space, perceive one another, and construct meaning, her meticulous process combines research with intuitive mark-making, engaging with language and symbolism that shape our lives. By questioning our understanding of forms of beauty and linear time, Boto equally challenges us to see the world not as fixed, but as a dynamic and infinitely varied system.
