Looking backโ€ฆ I practiced this blessing EVERYWHERE. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฅนโค๏ธ On the bus. Walking through Trader Joeโ€™s. In the airport. Over and over and over again, preparing to lead the Shehecheyanu at my dear friendsโ€™ wedding. And twice while I was practicing, I happened to pass Jewish gentlemen who heard me ~ and each one looked at me and gave me a thumbs up. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ It was the sweetest encouragement. So here I was, walking through the Salt Lake City airport on my way to the wedding rehearsal, still practicing my Hebrew and preparing for a truly joyous moment. โœจ Was I still working on it? A little glimpse into the life of a New York actorโ€ฆ ๐ŸŽญโœจ One audition. Three callbacks. About 24 hours. Studios rented to keep working, trains caught, lunch squeezed in, sides studied, prayers prayed, a little sleep somewhere in there ๐Ÿ˜‚โ€ฆ and back into the city to do it all over again. Itโ€™s not always glamorous. Itโ€™s preparation, stamina, faith, showing up, letting go, and trusting God with what happens after you leave the room. And after all of that? A few days later, my agents calledโ€ฆ I BOOKED ONE. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝโญ๏ธ Canโ€™t tell you which one just yet. ๐Ÿคซ But Iโ€™m grateful. So, so grateful. And after a week like that?
