5 years and 4 degrees later 💀

Although I started on the path of nursing, my passion for computer science has been long ingrained since I was a child. I knew I wouldn’t forgive myself if I didn’t give computer science a try so I explored it to see if it was the right fit for me, while also keeping nursing as a fallback option. But after five years and four degrees later…

I stand here today as a proud recipient of my baccalaureate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from UC Merced, as well as my associates degrees in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

This journey has been marked by countless sleepless nights, programming head-scratching coding problems, endless hours of driving, I could keep going 😐

Nonetheless, I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way, especially my family, Shawn, my friends who provided a much-needed distraction, and my little kitty therapist, Soju. 🤍

Now onto the next! 🙂🎉 taken in UC Merced by @lysayee
