UPSWELL IS HEADING TO REDWOOD CITY 🛸

Saturday, October 10th we’re joining Afro Bushido Academy’s Martial Music: Vivid Visions for their 4 Year Anniversary & Libra Birthday Bash — a full day built around music, art, movement, community and giving back.

UpSwell Studios will be taking charge of the outdoor stage, helping bring the live music portion of the event to life from 2PM–10PM.

This lineup is especially exciting for us because we’ll be working alongside several artists we already support, while getting the opportunity to connect and create with some new faces as well.

And we’re bringing some family with us — Lysn Kinship will be performing! 🌎🎶

@lysnroots 🎙️
@upswell_studios 🎻
@sjsouthpaw 🥁
@man_of_string 🎸
@ocean.amor.sol 🎤
@duhranwilsonmusic 🎺

Beyond the outdoor stage, there’s a whole world happening inside: sparring, live music, art, games, community, potluck and fundraising supporting what Afro Bushido Academy continues to build.

📍 2699 Spring St., Redwood City
📅 Saturday, October 10
⏰ 2PM–10PM

Today we stopped by CreaTV San José to pick up posters and tour the space where the next UpSwell Studios event will come to life 🙌

CreaTV is more than an incredible production facility—it’s a vital resource for local voices, independent artists, and the creative community. This collaboration gives San Jose artists an opportunity to perform in a professional studio environment, have their music captured for future promotion, and share their work with a wider audience through community media.

On August 28, we’re bringing together live music, professional production, and the people helping San José’s creative community grow.

Featuring live performances by Lysn Kinship, The Dead Heat, Amoroso and Plane.

📍 CreaTV San José
📅 August 28
⏰ 6:00–9:30 PM

This is what happens when local organizations work together to create real opportunities for artists and uplift one another.

Presented by CreaTV and UpSwell Studios.
