Tis the season! 🥳We’ve seen the posts and are so excited to hear that casting is officially underway! We wanted to take a minute to celebrate the woman behind the magic getting these kiddos (and us parents) through the process: @lyssabelle We went through two rounds of casting with Alyssa and can honestly say we couldn’t have done it without her. She is kind but honest. She doesn’t sugarcoat; she’s willing to tell you when something needs work or will ask, “That’s awesome! Is there another way you could achieve it? What could you have done differently if you had less time?”She is a trusted guide who knows how important it is to let the kids stand on their own two feet. The behind-the-scenes work is rarely glamorous, and I’m confident she doesn’t get enough recognition for everything she puts into this show. Happy belated birthday to my baby, my twin, my world. For so long I called my sister my baby and she will always be that…however as we’ve grown she has become a pillar for me. She is positive and powerful and empowering and everything you could need in a partner and a friend…and she’s mine. No one loves me this loud, but also isn’t afraid to tell me when the outfit ain’t it! The place she holds in my heart is so big. Watching her become a mother, and being present for that miracle has been and will continue to be one of the greatest joys of my life. I truly feel like motherhood was transformative and it’s powerful to witness! I will never stop riding for you Lindsey. There is a fire that burns to my bones for you Baby Sister. Thank you for loving me endlessly and being my greatest champion. I’m thankful Mom and Dad gave me the greatest gift, even if it meant I needed to wait til u grew out of ur “chasing me with a knife” phase. I love you Lindsey. Happy Birthday. by @lyssabelle

It’s taken me a few days to gather the courage to put my thoughts together after losing my Grammie. I always knew this loss would break me in a way I could never be prepared for. I don’t think I could have ever been ready to say goodbye to her. She was everything to me. Grammie never said no when I chose to spend almost every weekend at her house. She never turned me away when I crawled into her bed in the middle of the night. So much of my childhood was spent with her. I often chose her company over my friends, and I’ll forever be grateful to have been her Grammie’s Girl. I know what we shared was incredibly special and there’s so much joy when I look back on our bond.I’ll miss her beautiful hands that gently played with my hair when I couldn’t sleep, or tickled my back, and the long talks we had at the kitchen table. It’s hard to imagine my life without her. To have been loved by her was the greatest gift, and I’ll carry her with me for the rest of my life.I miss you already, Gram. Happy 11th Birthday to best girl there is. I say it to her daily and post about it annually but she really is the best friend and most caring soul. She had a tough year but managed to care for us and all her little humans even when she wasn’t feeling her best! So grateful for my perfect familiar and angel dog. We love you Maeby Girl. Now I have to figure out how to make her annual birthday cake out of her prescription dog food and broccoli…wish me luck! by @lyssabelle

Yesterday, our industry lost a titan. I lost my boss—and my friend. After a long battle, he finally got to rest… but not without putting up one hell of a fight. He fought hard for his family, his teams… but truthfully, I never knew the man to back down from a fight. Whether it was a heated debate, a mid-week basketball game, or a spirited spat over a contestant you believed in—he never shied away from the challenge. He thrived in it.He was known in this industry as a fierce leader—someone who demanded your best and settled for nothing less. Pressure makes diamonds, and he made many. Those gems are now some of my greatest friends. Some of them even found love with one another—but all of us found family and community under his leadership. He taught us so much. He pushed us to be better. And even of the day of his passing, we did interviews, we sent a pitch… because that’s what we do. We work hard. We keep going. We honor the man who made us what we are. Once I found my place on Team Luke, I never left. He gave me a space to grow, to learn—and he trusted me. He respected me. His questions lit a fire under me. Now those questions and many more…live in my head, echoing through every professional decision I make—and some of personal ones, too. It was a pleasure and an honor to be chosen by him, and to maintain his quality even in these unprecedented times. What could we do for him, other than work harder than ever, so he wouldn’t have to stress? It never felt like enough. But this journey gave me a purpose. And honestly, I feel a little lost as I face this next chapter. Still, as I read the kind words and incredible memories being shared by my colleagues, I realize how lucky we were to be chosen to “strive for greatness” with one of the very best.I’m heartbroken. But I’m happy he’s at peace. I love you, Luke. I’ll miss you every day at 9:30 a.m and wish we were having our morning meeting. And I’ll remember you every time I hear your voice in my head.Rest easy, friend. by @lyssabelle
