A wedding day that felt entirely like them. Starting the morning slowly at Aragosta: sauna, cold plunges straight into the ocean, salty hair & all of their favorite people tucked away on the coast of Maine. Then somewhere along the way, the morning turned into a wedding day. The kind of day that was about being completely present: good food, the ocean at our feet, so much laughter, & everyone they love gathered in one place. A little wild, a little windswept, & so very Maine ~ ~ ~ Planning, Creative Direction & Production |@Izeventco Photo | @maggieadamsphoto Venue & Catering | @aragosta.maine Bridal Gown | @oliviagetsobsessed Floral Design | @clo.floral Decor & Rentals | @peakeventservices Linens | @reverie_social Band | @gye.band Sauna | @selkiesauna Transportation | @northeastcharter Bride | @jessie_basler taken in Aragosta by @lzeventco

“Where flowers bloom, so does love.” 🌸💕 Welcome to Ray & Pete’s floral shoppe, where flowers flourish and a celebration effortlessly comes to life. Rachel & Peter, school sweethearts, share a passion for all things floral. The groom, Peter, a horticulturalist, inspired our greenhouse-like faux floral shoppe, complete with bloom buckets, a curated plant section, and a sprawling dance floor. Set beneath the iconic King Louis statue in St. Louis, this tented creation was nothing short of a showstopper. Inside the museum, the garden party unfolded in full splendor: lush, towering trees and vibrant blooms artfully arranged among the works of Anselm Kiefer in Sculpture Hall. With over 100 varieties of blooms sourced from 10 countries, this wedding was as fresh as it was unforgettable. An evening like none other. Jeremy & Baylin’s St. Louis nuptials were the epitome of Tuscan elegance meets eclectic charm. These two showed up and gave us the definition of a cool kid party: bold florals, pasta out of a Parmesan cheese wheel, a DJ set from one of the groomsman, & a dance floor literally meant to “cut a rug”- no detail was spared. An experience for the ages. They brought a small number of their closest friends and family to a small town in the country side of Italy, one that you could walk across in fifteen minutes. Myself, @bach.films and @lzeventco pretty much all stayed on site and were with them for four days, running around the town. Four days PACKED WITH SO MUCH ENERGY. Erin, a photographer herself, had zero agenda. We think a wedding is walking down the aisle, cutting the cake, etc. But let’s be honest, our favorite moments are those little things that happen in between the actual events. It’s going into town to select and pick up your flowers on the fly. It’s running down the streets in your dress not worried about it getting dirty with people cheering you on, an older couple opening their window to see what’s going on and watching from above. It’s the power going out during your first dance putting everyone into complete darkness, so your friends and family carry the song with their own voices and light the dance floor with their cell phone flashlights. Proof that things going wrong isn’t a liability, it’s an asset. It’s the owner of the restaurant down the street opening up the doors at 1am, calling in his buddies to come and make food, and joining in on the continued dancing while passing pedestrians from the town also jumped in, everyone moving in the red glow. It’s the friends who took the entire weekend into their own hands and PARTIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEDDDD. Handing all the vendors beer after beer. I’ve never seen an under 20 person dance floor feel like we could have been at a 1000 person wedding reception. This wedding had the heart. It had freedom. There was no planning any of these things happening, and they knew that. There was no planning any of the photos for that reason. It was letting loose the reigns, and saying, “Run as fast as you want. Surprise me.” Huge thanks to @bach.films for being an incredible partner to work with. And huge thanks to @lzeventco for giving everything of yourself to make this dream day into a reality. The hard work did not go unnoticed taken in DOMUS LAETA - Residenza storica by @lzeventco

If you’re dining amongst art, then your design becomes art itself. When we first started working with Maddie, her dream wedding was to be at the Saint Louis Art Museum with lots of southern charm. She envisioned a fabulous dinner full of color and that is what we brought to the table. Custom banquettes down the center of Sculpture Hall with large trees, mismatched colorful china, and lush florals set the scene, and guests got to dine in a room that brought art to life. When the spring wedding season started with this beauty down in St Louis, we knew it was going to be a gorgeous year. We didn’t take lightly the call to action of transforming the @stlartmuseum into a fresh take on a European floral market… (a horticulturalists DREAM). Scroll to see plenty of the beautiful botanicals that we used to bring this spring wedding to life. Photos: @mikecassimatis Planning: @lzeventco taken in Saint Louis Art Museum by @lzeventco
