This is my second year playing Ecstasy of Soul by @zedsdead at @summerofsoundwpg . I love this song because it’s both epic and has lots of little noises that I think are perfect for lasers. I had this vision last year and @edgardovalera and @dclasers absolutely crushed it with very little time. They worked their asses off for this and it shows.

This was played midway through my set, so as an opener that was when people really started to pour in and I wanted to show the people what laser programming could look like. Amazing job by everyone!!! taken in Winnipeg, Manitoba by @lzr.era

This is the second time I got to play Summer of Sound on my lasers. Last year I really wanted to do a lot of programming but didn’t have the time or energy to do it because of how busy I was. This year I had a lot more help with the incredible @dclasers programming some songs for me and he absolutely crushed it. @edgardovalera went above and beyond to research all the tech to make it work with Danny’s help and I am so so grateful for the entire team for pulling this off, I am living my dream.

This was the last song I played during my set, dedicated to my dad who recently passed that made all of this possible.

To me, a great show combines music and production. Our job as DJs is to make people vibe. And while music alone can do that, I think support from lasers and lights take it to the next level. That is the goal of @platform.productions and @lazer.lands .

It has always been my dream to put on highly coordinated laser shows so it’s been such a blessing to have both @edgardovalera and @danyn.ca to be able to help out with that vision. They are so incredibly talented and passionate about what they do. I’m really excited to show you guys what we have planned. This is just a small taste.

Lazer Lands will be the biggest laser show in Winnipeg to date. We’re super happy to be back at the Park Theatre for this event. Last time we were there was for @upcyclesounds Audio Apothecary and that’s still a show that people tell us that was their favourite rave to this day.

We are heavily inspired by Lost Land’s Crater and we are hoping to bring that experience to Winnipeg!! It’ll be a cinematic journey of music and production.

Lazer lands is July 31st at the Park Theatre!

This will be the biggest laser show in Winnipeg to date. We’re going really high production for this event. Lots of screens, lots of lights, and as many lasers as we can possibly jam in the place. My goal with this event is to really showcase Winnipeg talent. I really want to show people that even though we are a small city, we are world class at what we do!!

I’m really stoked for the lineup! The city has an amazing roster of dubstep talent and I’m really excited by every single artist, I know the vibes will be emaculate!!!

If you like what we’ve done with lasers in the city this will be your opportunity to support us! All profits will go back into funding more production work to improve all shows that we’ve been help put on.

On April 17th Era and myself (Goblin) met at a soundcheck for @localfrequency ’s open decks. I had been doing lasers for a couple of months and Era was interested in learning so we met up in my studio to jam.

Never in a million years did either of us realize how that innocuous meetup was going to change everything for both of us. It was such a crazy year. Starting from June to December, it was non stop shows. We formed so many amazing relationships over that time, grew so much in skills, and learned so much. What an absolutely incredible experience.

I really want to thank @edgardovalera for everything he does, without him none of this would be possible.

Happy 1 year of LZR.ERA. Let’s have an amazing 2nd year. by @lzr.era
