Not me trying to get back to a job that was already gone.

Now that the dust is settled… I’m realizing everything that happened - the surgery, the recovery, the dissolution, Titan’s passing- all of this was clearing space for something I actually wanted to do.

I’m taking these lessons and I’m not looking back.

Lesson learned. Table built.

7 fibroids were slowly destroying my life. And I had no idea.

Where I’ve been the last few months… besides having to let Titan go, I’ve been slowly but surely healing my body after a ridiculous ride dealing with fibroids for the last few years. After watching my body morph into something that was unrecognizable, I made the decision to have fibroid surgery at 49 yrs old. The journey back has not been easy… recovery is a major bitch- I didn’t even realize how much all of this was affecting me or slowing me down. Now that I’m finally able to work out again… I’ve recommitted to wellness and healing and I’m proud of that. This, politics and other things has kept me quiet for quite some time… but I’m done laying low… it’s not forwarding 🤷🏾‍♀️. Yeah… ain’t no way I wasn’t coming home…
I changed my ticket 3 times (including this morning) when I got to the airport and realized that I was NOT clear when I said to change my ticket to Saturday!!! She had me booked for the 20th!!!

Luckily it all worked out… I had this ticket for June since January. I was letting the stress get to me… but YOLO!
