A look into the process of handcrafting the @enos______________ ‘Beautiful Path’ Kimonos. From a piece of paper to a provocative garment. by @m.c.enos
INTUNE ATL had the pleasure of visiting @m.c.enos a local menswear designer and owner of "Enos" during a recent fitting with a client. During our meet up, we were able to talk his early life in Kentucky, his star studded clientele, the ethos of Enos, our shared appreciation for construction, fabrics and textiles, his love for Japanese culture, and the concept of Kintsugi as it relates to his newest project Enjoy this clip from our conversation shot by the talented @vyvy.thai of @vtmedias by @m.c.enos

Super grateful to have had the pleasure of designing this handmade @enos______________ Kimono Blazer for @kaylee.bryant and her appearance at the @goldhouseco #GoldGala last weekend in LA. The crazy part is this went from conception, to drawing, to design, to pattern making then full construction all in 3 days. The Gold Gala uplifts Asian Pacific creators and Bryant who is of Japanese decent, Okinawa specifically, chose to celebrate designers who specialize in Japanese silhouettes and fabrics. So we sketched out a few different looks, and with the guidance of @itsamandalim, decided on the blazer. Anyone who has experience creating pieces from scratch without the model being present understands how difficult it is to perfect the fit, even with measurements. I mean look at that curved opening, look at those slitted sleeves🤌🏼‼️ Kaylee posted it if you’d like to see the full look.
