The healing Power of Flowers! Thank you, Plateau Goldeneye, for your abundant blooming even in a time of deep drought and heat! Bringing the beauty in to lift my spirits while in a lingering Covid situation. And deep gratitude to @taitmoring who in 2021 so graciously invited me to gather seeds on his property-a glorious fall day and now every time I look at these plants -now very solidly expanding their range on my property-I think of his kindness and how every plant on this ordinary urban property has a back story! #plateaugoldeneye #nativeplants #beauty #gatherseedsfornextyear taken in Austin, Texas by @m.erediththomas

Sacred datura-such a beauty- is a powerful visionary plant/flower used historically to connect people with spirits. She blooms at night and is pollinated by the sphinx moth. Datura grows freely in this region since pre-colonization times and surely was used in important rituals and initiations. #sacreddatura #visionaryplants by @m.erediththomas

Healing is a human right! Honored to be moderating this panel at #PsychedelicScience2025, representing @thankyoulife_fund & uplifting the incredible work of @newearthlife and @wilhelmina_decastro This model is revolutionary-bringing real healing to young people navigating the deep wounds of incarceration, gang violence & the foster care system. We’re proving what’s possible when community is the medicine. #psychedelicequity #healingisjustice by @m.erediththomas
