I took some time today and took pictures of our build. I’ve been horrible about documenting it, but I try not to bug the workers too much. We’ve been off our property for well over a year now but we can see the finish line. We thought we’d be in before Christmas but unfortunately we had trouble getting concrete for the garage and basement so it’s looking more like beginning of January. I’ll have to include some basement pics in the future but it’s the last thing they’ll finish so it’s not much to write home about right now.
My wife has much better taste than I do so all colors, aesthetics, cedar shakes accents, all her. I did design our custom shower which I insisted on. I’m a pretty big guy and never really had a shower with space.
Again, my apologies if you’ve sent messages or texts and I haven’t had a chance to reply. We’re getting bombarded with questions and decisions daily while also raising two amazing girls and working full time as does my wife.
I hope everyone had an amazing Halloween, on to the holiday season and new beginnings! by @m.o.n.comics

Happy Halloween from my spooky clan to yours! My presence on instagram is non existent as of late, my apologies to friends I’ve missed. Our second Halloween in our temporary house was a fun time as always, but we’re ready to go home which won’t be until January due to some set backs. But we’ll get there. Much love to you all! by @m.o.n.comics

One year ago to the day my family’s lives changed forever. It feels like forever ago and yesterday at the same time, if that makes any sense. It’s been a year of planning, adapting, healing, and doing a million things we never thought we’d have. But we’ve done it as a family and managed to make the best of the situation.
Huge thanks to all my friends on here and beyond, especially @whatsonthecomicrack for mobilizing an army of folks to help me and my channel. Little did I know this situation would consume my life far beyond the initial stages and we’ll be submitting receipts in addition to other tasks for years to come. Thanks to everyone for sending things, making videos, or just texting to check in.
Folks have been asking our estimated move in date. Our builders plan on finishing the basement last and told us if we don’t mind seeing them at breakfast and dinner then we can move in before Christmas, so keep your fingers crossed. Here’s to new beginnings! by @m.o.n.comics

It’s been a rough week for iconic celebrities passing. Loved Dolly since I was a kid, Tim Curry was an absolute legend, but this one…this guy right here. He was with us nerds through our childhood’s and beyond. So Optimus Prime, Venjer, voice of the Predator snarl. May you rest in peace. by @m.o.n.comics

Hard to find spare time these days but I managed to spend the week grinding out the first video in a long time which drops at 8am EST. Besides a more thorough house update I wanted to thank @spros_comics, @stillonly35c, @twenty2_comics, and @bigbymcfly for helping put a HUGE smile on my face by sending some cool stuff my way. I apologize for not being very communicative through DM’s and such but just know, it’s what I gotta do. I hope you’re all well and have an amazing weekend! by @m.o.n.comics

I’ve been extremely busy between being on several committees for my job and local high school, my kids since it’s my wife’s busy season, and with life in general, but I wanted to pop on and give an update on our house. As you can see from the pictures, it’s moving along nicely. We hope to have the roof on in August and then the inside drywall, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen can be started. Basement will be the last piece to be finished. We are making more decisions on a daily basis than we could have dreamed to be making. Estimated completion date is 12/30/26, BUT, we are ahead of schedule and it could be sooner. The contractor is also motivated by not wanting to drive here when the winter hits so that helps haha. I’ve had no time to create but will be making a video soon as some folks continue to kindly send me some cool stuff. Excited to have a place to put it all in a few months but more thrilled to get my kids and wife in a comfy home on OUR property. Hope all my friends on here and in YouTube land are well. Much love, fam! by @m.o.n.comics

Happy Father’s Day my friends! 🎉 by @m.o.n.comics

Little update for my friends, no, family here on instagram. 9 months have gone by since my family’s lives were changed in an afternoon…BUT, dreams and planning are coming to fruition. Our basement, our walls, our space is slowly being raised from the ashes. Our estimated date to be in the house is December 30th of this year. For now we are making things work, saving our money (not much room for extracurricular’s except a small family getaway), and being thankful for moving in the right direction. With school ending, being back to work after healing my back, and answer 17 building questions a day I’m pretty drained so content creation or just being on instagram has taken a back seat. Please don’t be offended if you message me and I don’t respond for a bit, just trying to prioritize. Folks have asked if I will still create content when the house is done and the answer is yes. Just need the right stuff in order in life right now. I’m also anticipating traveling to a VERY loved comic book show with friends next year to hang with one of the best communities ever. Thanks for following along on our journey, much love to you all! by @m.o.n.comics

Been pretty busy of late focusing on my family and our house build but I HAD to jump on here and wish a happy 39th birthday to my favorite sci-fi flick and alien that has ever graced the silver screen. On June 12th in 1987 folks got to see one of the most jacked casts ever assembled and showed us the ultimate hunt. I’m grateful to see it still alive and well today and can’t wait to see what this killer of killers hunts next and what distant worlds @dannytrs takes us to. Happy Friday folks!

NEW VIDEOS TWO WEEKS IN A ROW?!?! Trying to get back into the groove of being a consistent content creator which isn’t always easy, especially when life is throwing life stuff at ya way too fast. But today I got a fun one with a discovery that connected me to my childhood and left a big smile on my face. Please join me at 8am EST to see what I’m babbling about.
I’ll also be posting the winners of my channel giveaway so stay tuned for that as well. Happy Friday folks!
