Random treadmill run on a Monday equals fastest 5k post baby number three. Since I haven’t slept more than 2 hours straight in two weeks (toddler teething, life…) I’m gonna say this pace is a miracle. Slowly getting back to functional fitness and making activity a habit. by @m.olly.rose

In a fit of nostalgic mania I canceled the streaming services, bought a vhs player and old crt tv from eBay, and have declared its 2001 forever. And you know what?… so far it’s really awesome. She loves it.

The novelty will wear off and she’ll ask for shows we don’t have anymore, but I could not take one more decision fatigue meltdown or endless requests for specific YouTube videos. She can pick one of a few vhs tapes or DVDs we have out. We can go to the library to check out new videos. And the electric hum and screen static are giving me all the butterflies, it’s like time travel.
