I still haven’t unmasked it, but I’m excited for this first commission. I tried a new technique adding PVA glue to concrete. 🤞✌️ by @m.raszl

Happy Birthday, Jack! 26 today and at the end of the month he comes off of my health insurance policy. (I won’t get political here). Pretty much every decision that I’ve made since I was 23 was to take care of my kids so this is a big one for me. by @m.raszl

I finished this strange little thing. One of the reasons I love making art is sometimes the work seems to make itself, like I am the conductor. #contemporaryembroidery by @m.raszl

A dream realized—I’m joining my cousin Michelle for a shared exhibition in Stockbridge, MA. It’s a soulful exploration of where we’ve been and the art we’ve found along the way. Join us for the artists reception on March 14. by @m.raszl

Some recent starts to fiber projects. I have a long way to go. This is planning for a body of work for a show this summer. The work includes wool that I dyed while in residency in Peru this past summer, as well as wool and cotton dyed from grown and sourced goldenrod, marigolds, black eyed susans, onion skins, woad and indigo, and a collection of thread that I inherited from my grandmother. It has been difficult to stay focused, but art is love. ✌️ by @m.raszl
