Nasema!! I've got a new song out

I've been drifting around in genres and with sonics, and one thing I've really been loving is chants.

Some @thenairobinomad x @m.rumbi

Some afro, some folk, sumu kiasi, mateso madogo na bado

They’ve got a map and a vision, a number of facts, and would appreciate your attention. And Sasasasa is here to help you with that.
Sasasasa is making sure we keep you up to date with BoiBlacc and M. Rumbi’s journey: (The road to Lagos).
Enjoy this snippet of their rehearsal session with @cedz_imagination and make sure you follow them so you know where to catch them next.
But what you can do is catch them tomorrow, on the 15th of October at Zahabu for an evening of live acoustic music. Entry is free but the vibes are priceless

Today was a good day, spent with good people.

We're playing and prepping as @_boiblacc and I get ready to head to Lagos next month.

Today we had rehearsal for our acoustic show, happening this Thursday (15th October) @zahabu.nbo

We'll be selling merch and music but the music and good vibes are very much like the entry...FREE by @m.rumbi

Hey guys, really excited to have dropped a new ambient folk track.

This is the first single off an upcoming EP called "Matunda, Matendo na Mienendo" — this one's "Matunda."

Been trying to drop something once a month, and honestly been pretty consistent with it. You guys vibing with it always means a lot.

This is our September drop — back with Mzito mwepesi, BoiBlacc.

Spot the song, give it a listen, hope you vibe with it.

Let's see what October has in store. 🎶 by @m.rumbi

Feeling a little nostalgic today, looking back at everything that's been done. The time spent in Makanda with BasicCity was forever life-changing, forever affirming.

Back at it with the music though. Hope you enjoyed the August release — "Itabidi Nimejikaza" — and the EP that dropped in July, "K.M.," featuring "Kijana Mtanashati."

I've got a drop for September too, trying to keep it monthly. Out tomorrow. taken in Kiamwenja, Central, Kenya by @m.rumbi

Feeling a bit jazzy, feeling a bit bossa.

Probably the last demo for a while — but you know there's always new music coming.

Check out "Fall in Love," out today. Guitar by the one and only @_muthondu_ .

Short, sweet, perfect for your morning, perfect for your weekend.

More music on the way. 🎶 by @m.rumbi

Wagwan the music video for "Penzi" is out now — everywhere, and up on YouTube.

When we were putting this together, we were going for something tongue-in-cheek — ideally, visuals that are a complete mismatch to the song. That's exactly what you're getting.

Shout out to Aku for shooting and editing. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll get it fully finished — it's already been a year since we shot it, and the audio's been out just as long. So we figured we might as well share it as is.

We do hope you enjoy it. More music on the way.
