Park cats in Quanzhou, eating cat treats brought from Hong Kong. Park cats are generally fed by people living nearby who voluntarily bring them cat food, but good to take cat treats along when visiting parks. by @m.umerabdullah

Red-necked keelback

This specie has a greenish color with red regions around the head. It lives near aquatic bodies and consumes frogs, lizards, fish, and other small animals. Its bite is not known to be fatal to humans but can cause organ failure. It's shy of humans and avoids contact. This particular individual was resting on my side of the road but started to cross to the other side once it spotted me. I wasn't actively chasing it, just maintaining distance while also walking on the road behind it to indicate to incoming cars to not crush it. Once it had safely crossed, I went on my way as well. by @m.umerabdullah

Guangzhou, China. This city is close to HK and can be reached via high speed rail in as little as 47 minutes (via the nonstop train). Guangzhou has a number of tourist attractions to explore. The parks here are quite nice. There's a sizeable expat community here and there's a popular street called "little Africa" where a number of shops dealing in Halal international cuisine can be found. Two masajid here, Huaisheng Masjid and Xianxian Masjid are frequently visited by Muslim tourists. Both have a number of Halal food places nearby as well taken in Guangzhou, China by @m.umerabdullah

Masajid of Kunming:

Kunming has a sizeable Muslim population and there are a number of Masajid in the city. Some of these Masajid are shown in the images. These are all within walking distance of each other and can be easily visited in the same day. Other Masajid in the city can be accessed via metro. If choosing to visit, would suggest going close to one of the 5 prayer times, otherwise the doors might be closed. Ha Long Bay:

Visiting Ha Long Bay is a popular tourist activity in Vietnam. Trips can last from a few hours to a few days. These can be booked via third party websites or directly with travel agencies. Generally a trip involves hotel pick up early morning in Hanoi and a bus ride to the boat pier. The boat ride can last till sunset the same day or a few days later depending on the package. Water forest (水上森林):

This is a popular tourist attraction in Hangzhou, China. Activities include a boardwalk and kayaking. During the winter, the water in the forest becomes bright green due to duckweed and resembles matcha, which explains why it's also called "Matcha Forest".

It's located right next to Qingshan Lake, an artificial reservoir. The lake is good for birdwatching, forest walks, and a walk/bicycle ride on a beautiful trail along the shore. A ferry service runs across the lake as well. The lake and the water forest can be easily accessed via Hangzhou Metro.
