What a night!

Thank you so much to everyone who came down to support our first ever Taipan Trax event on Saturday!

After four years of running the label, it was amazing to see it all come together in person for the first time with such an incredible crowd - we couldn’t be more grateful 🙏🏻

Spanning an impressive range of breaks, electro, footwork and jungle, Muna knows how to bring the energy - in both her DJ sets and her productions. First appearing on our radar in 2021, Muna made one of the first ever contributions to Taipan Trax with her raw breakbeat heater ‘Cool Down Dance’.

First gig back since October was a whole lot of wholesome fun ❤️ jungle, footwork, horny 160, sweat, tits, lost earring - all as the lord intended! Forgot how much I love rocking up and taking the cool factor out of DJing with my 'Auntie Janet does a pinger for the first time since 'Napa 03' dance moves - it is simply the best.

Thanks so much to @keshenanigans for such a unique and beautiful event, these nights have the most friendly and upbeat vibe imaginable. And thanks to @hubble_photo for what I think is my favourite photo ever of me behind the decks!! Classic xxxx

I'm SO proud to announce the long-awaited second installment of the Patchworks V.A series! 9 incredible FLINT (female/lesbian/intersex/nonbinary/trans) producers from around the globe take you on a proper journey through every vibe, speed and genre of dance music. UKG, UK funky, 160, acid techno, regular techno, ghettotech, drum and bass, footwork - you name it, it's in here. This compilation reflects a year of hard work, 10 hour mastering sessions, dodgy photoshop edits and the saintly patience of my collaborators while I wig out - and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It reflects the beautiful diversity of electronic music, and of people. I hope you enjoy it - share it, play it in the club, play it to your mates, play it to a weevil 🪳🌟

As always all the proceeds will go to @transasylumsupport, a non profit, grassroots and anti state organisation that supports trans refugees in all aspects of life after arriving in the USA. The money will specifically go to helping Noah, who is a Palestinian refugee. The price for this V.A is a bit higher than before, but help is really needed 🇵🇸❤️

Anywayz enough silliness, this post is to say a ✨️big sorry✨️ to everyone who's tried to book me or ask me about music stuff lately...I should have said earlier instead of constantly bunning everyone off but I am gonna be taking a little break for the foreseeable, had a tuff few months ngl and I am a burnt out boiy and think I could do with slowing it down and discovering some other stuff for a bit. I rly struggled with the idea of having a break from music stuff bc of fear of being forgotten about etc, but I have since realised that that's bollocks and it ain't about that. Pressure doesn't make u a better creative. I gotta remember why I do this, it's not about getting booked or having releases, it's just bc I fckn love music and leaping about to it with a room full of happy ppl 🦋
Plus sometimes stuff is more important and it's a rly nice act of self love to show urself that 💗
As I said huge sorry to all the ppl I have been collaborating with and to m8s and promoters, I will be back soon tho and hopefully with more enerGz and beans :):) loads of love to everyone in these tough times.
