This is a letter to the Maritimes. it’s been more than a month since we took our dream trip to the maritimes. Everyday I miss it more and more. Anne of Green Gables has held so much emotion for me these past 5 years. I’ve grown up with the book and now in my 20s I’ve found a whole new meaning. Prince Edward Island was a dream come true. I’ve never felt peace the way I felt when I was there. Everything was slow and beautiful. People were nice, they appreciated your stories. Nova Scotia was wonderful, i’m so lucky that I was able to take my best friend to a place that means so much to my family. I’ll never be able to explain this trip. I love Anne, I love PEI, I love Lucy Maud Montgomery, I love canada. taken in Prince Edward Island by @m.watka

My sweet beautiful Mimi. You were a star in my life and someone who I could always rely on. I don’t know what life is going to be like without you around, but I know that you will always be there. I’m so lucky to have had 25 years with you by my side. I will miss your kisses and hugs. You are everything to me and I will continue to carry on your legacy and tell the stories of you. I love you and I miss you. Please visit me when you’re around, i’ll be looking for you everywhere ❤️ by @m.watka
