Last night’s sold out Grand Final was epic. Every band absolutely smashed it and did themselves proud. 🖤 Congratulations to our new reigning champions, @martyrssaint , who will be performing on the New Blood Stage at this year’s practically sold out 25th anniversary of @bloodstockopenair ! 🤘🏻🏆🔥 We want to thank every band who took part this year, and every single person who bought a ticket, cast a vote and supported local music. It’s your involvement that makes events like this so special. Seeing so many of Bristol’s bands coming together across different genres is what helps make our local scene stronger than ever before. 🖤 A massive thank you must also go to our special guest headliners in the semi-finals, @ofnusabm and @thefivehundred_ . And, of course, our 2025 champions, @monochromemetal , who treated us all to an incredible special guest headline set last night before the results were announced and the new champions were crowned. 🖤🖤🖤 We must also thank Simon, @m2tmofficial and @bloodstockopenair for creating something truly unique and special with M2TM. They champion up and coming bands in a way that no other festival does and have given so much to so many grass roots bands. Last but certainly not least, thank you to @exchangebristol , who also do so much for grassroots music in Bristol and continue to provide a home for @m2tmbristol . They’ve been the exclusive home of M2TM Bristol for almost a decade, and their support has been invaluable. Please check out their upcoming shows and support as many as you can—especially on 20th September, when The Five Hundred return to Bristol to headline once again, alongside Eschalon and The Mechanist. 🤘🏻 🎟️ Advance tickets: https://hdfst.uk/e152364 As the dust settles, we’re humbled by the incredible bands, the amazing venue and the passionate fans who helped to make M2TM Bristol 2026 campaign what it was. Thank you all 🤘🏻🖤🔥 by @m2tmbristol
Before their set on the New Blood stage @bloodstockfestival, I caught up with Bristol's crossover thrash heavyweights @martyrssaint! They spoke with me about how proud they are to be representing Bristol at Bloodstock this year after winning their Metal to the Masses competiton, their EP from Strength to Strength, and how they don't want to give the audience a minute to breathe during their set. Full chat @ in my bio! #martyrssaint #bloodstockfestival #metal #thrash #bristol by @m2tmbristol
🔥🔥@m2tmbristol 🔥🔥 We have two awesome things to announce! Firstly, congrats to @kintonaband who we've hand picked from the M2TM Bristol heats to play our 10 year anniversary SWHF event next May! We loved seeing the band perform throughout this competition, and we can't wait to have them on our stage next year in Bridgwater! Secondly, if you haven't already seen, a massive congratulations to the guys in @martyrssaint who have only gone and won the Bristol competition, heading to Bloodstock Festival next month! Very well deserved and a band definitely you need to check out if you haven't already. They smashed their set at SWHF this year and no doubt you'll be seeing more of them in the future! Thanks to Nick and the @mortishead guys for having me back at M2TM, the competition is always fantastic every year with a vast array of talent! We can't wait to see what next year has in store already! 👀🔥 by @m2tmbristol
