Seeing this played out live is a mega feeling! ‘COME ALIVE’ has been sent out to quite a few DJs and seeing it played is unreal! Thanks to all the DJs this year who have played any of the tracks and the support! A Huge thanks to @ojaymusic_uk here playing this one out at the @more_trance event Friday with his amazing b2b with @aidyscapedj !!! What a venue and what a night! #dj #live #trance #techno by @m45dj
*** JUST BE YOU *** This last 12 months has been a ride to say the least! Being a solo artist with not much help and not really knowing which direction I’m going hasn’t been easy, but there’s some special people around me and some great people I’ve met this year and they have literally assisted me and continue to navigate the ride more smoothly! I think you can be the best producer , the best DJ, the best anything, but if you have a huge ego, don’t want to help people, don’t listen to advice, and not the nicest person, then you won’t make it too far. All i ever try to be is honest and genuine as a DJ and a person and I would like to think that comes across to all the people I’ve met at these events, whether it’s DJs, managers, staff, promoters, owners, customers in the crowd, I think just being yourself and down to earth decent person goes a long way!! I’ve been so fortunate this year to be invited to these events and I’ve gone to majority of them by myself, but met people who now I call friends who are absolutely top people!! So whether it’s Manchester, Liverpool, Amsterdam, it’s been absolutely unreal and made memories I’ll never ever forget. The ball is slowly starting to roll, So enjoy the ride people! Let’s go 🚀 @awp_photography 📸 #dj #trance #techno #manchester by @m45dj
*** support and being real *** I’d say the core majority of the people who support me right now are those I’ve met in the last 12 months either through social media or at gigs. Madness how someone across the other side of the world, who never met me, will message me more than someone who says they are my mate but hey! In an industry that’s full to the brim of talent, it’s sometimes hard to get that break and that opportunity, the chance we all need to get a hand on the ladder, but I can’t thank people enough for their support. When a dj downloads a track, plays it at a gig, streams it, shares it, it’s a really overwhelming feeling. It’s mad to think at the moment I’m literally bottom of the ladder, but this year not only have I had hundreds of people download and play my tracks, but being invited to gigs, fortunate to of met some djs who are smashing it and just so genuine, getting messages of support and advice, even sometimes just a reply you don’t realise how big a boost that is when you are just looking up to those who are doing this for a living and top of their game. Support doesn’t just come in forms of downloads and plays but even the calls, bookings, recommendations, shares, likes, messages, conversations absolutely anything any of you do to help I just want to say thank you so far! I think just being real and genuine goes so far in this industry and so far I have only met people who are just the soundest people!! I don’t need to name drop or anything because you can pretty much include yourself in this if you know you are supportive. So I’d just like to say thank you as always! We keep pushing! A massive thanks in this video for playing my track to @wain_webz and @claradoyle14 who are massively supportive and im grateful for your msgs and downloads and plays! #dj #festivaldj #djset #mixing #reels by @m45dj
In my element #dj #festivaldj #livemusic #djset #trance by @m45dj
*** the earlier days *** I’m forever grateful of every gig I’ve had, whether it was a wedding, a house party, corporate gig , festival, infront of 1 or 2000, i had some amazing opportunities so far, and I always try my best to connect with the crowd and make sure I give the best version of myself as dj and a person! So a thank you to those so far who have been involved in anyway shape or form 🫶🏼 #dj #festivaldj #livemusic #djset #livemusic by @m45dj
*** DOING THE UNCOMFORTABLE *** When I got asked to get some professional shots done, those who know me will know EXACTLY how I would have felt. Yes - SHITTING MYSELF Behind the decks is one thing or meeting new people, or making connections and new friends I enjoy BUT out in the open, stood in-front of a lens, in public, well that’s a different story! After being a wimp and tense, got relaxed and we got a load of shots done and I couldn’t have asked for a better set of people who I went out around the city centre with that day who helped me feel calm and relaxed as possible throughout. 🫶🏼 📸 @awp_photography @rayne_dnb @dj_mochan @sydney_shawz #dji #trance #techno #photographer #manchester by @m45dj
** SUPPORT ** It’s crazy to think the majority of support comes from absolute strangers who I’ve never even met, having spoken to quite a few DJs about this, it seems very common and it’s mad to think I literally have followers from all over the world who like and share my stuff but some who are literally my ‘friends’ I never see like share not a peep . Anyway, I want to say a huge thanks to anyone and everyone who does support me in any way. If you have been to a gig, booked me, downloaded a track, played a track, messaged me, rang me, streamed my stuff, those who ring and msg with any help advice, there’s so many people who literally help behind the scenes and all that most people see is the person on the decks. So thank you to everyone so far! Let’s keep pushing! For all bookings/enquiries please dm me @rebootdj74 with this stream 🙏🏼 of my track -Phatt Bass #dj #festivaldj #mixing #support #djset by @m45dj

*** Manifestation Monday **** To listen to, watch, meet and be around people that give you the inspiration and motivation to try and make it to where they are is massive! In the last 12 months support, texts, calls, DMs, downloads, playing my tracks and watching these guys in the flesh, has pushed me more than ever! Can’t thank anyone enough who has shown me the love! Let’s goooo 🚀 #dji #festival #techno #trance #inspiration by @m45dj
