In another blow to Trump's war on mail-in ballots, the Supreme Court just refused to let his administration throw our elections into chaos weeks before Election Day.

This is the tactic we've watched time and time again. Restrict the mail, tighten the requirements, and make the path to the ballot box just a little bit harder in hopes that our people get tired of pushing back.

In 2024 alone, absentee voting made up nearly a third of all votes cast across 32 states. Almost 2 million of those ballots came from Black voters, nearly 3 million from Asian voters, and over 4 million from Hispanic voters. That's the coalition they're trying to break up.

The Supreme Court still has more to decide before November, and the confusion these repeated challenges create is the point, but every ruling like this one tells us the same thing we already knew, that our vote is worth fighting for, and we don't stop until it's secured. by @m4blaction

Our ancestors were counted as property before they were counted as voters. Every protection we fought for since then has been contested, rolled back, and won again by our people being organized and coming together.

The current attacks are the same fight in new clothes. From voter purge lists and closed precincts to rules written specifically to shrink us, none of this is new to our people. We’ve fought it before, and we’re ready again.

Today on National Voter Registration Day, take two minutes to register, or check that you're still on the rolls.
