willow is a short lil demo pack i put together inspired by weeping willows which r my favorite trees ever. they often represent grief and sadness (hence the weeping) but they’re actually big symbols of resilience and strength. they regenerate & regrow really fast + their branches are so flexible that they bend under heavy wind and snow but they never break. weeping willows to me are a symbol of how softness is a strength.

that’s what i wanted to convey w these songs, and i just wanted to b unfiltered and real and honest. tbh most of the lyrics are freestyled cus i just wanted to put something out that was authentic and admittedly imperfect. i also honestly just love trees so much i kinda wanted to create a love letter to them :p

1. willow - prod me
2. sensitive gangsta - prod me, word to @amayaelizabeth_ for coining that phrase and representing the sensitive gangstas
3. delusion - prod @creaeak, dropped this demo on sc last summer and wanted to finally finish it

thank u for reading or listening if u do <3 thank u for letting me take up space by @m4nale
