I want you to dig deep and donate to an important cause.

Over October 21-22 I will be joining a group of incredible humans to ride 380km from Myrtleford to Melbourne.

We are undertaking this epic ride to raise money for the @ocrf .

Ovarian cancer is a brutal beast, with around 70% of diagnosis found in the advanced stages and only 29% of these women are expected to live beyond 5 years.

@ocrf aims to save lives through early detection and personalised treatment.

With your support they can work towards creating a future where women live without the threat of ovarian cancer.

Follow the link at the top of my page to donate. Every little bit helps.

Happy birthday to one of the most generous, patient and incredible humans on this planet.

What you lack in bad qualities you make up with age.

Remember it's always far nicer to be an old fart than a fresh one...

Love you beautiful man

Love being part of Melb’s diverse cycling community - including this bunch of awesome women @grl_ride_mel. You put it beautifully this morning @m_l.fy when you said the gp is a safe fun social place for women to find their cycling legs and to set out on new adventures. It’s certainly played that role for me. A HUGE shout out to @m_l.fy @shel_bee_bikes and @fats_tajbhai for keeping the wheels turning and the dad jokes rolling ❤️ by @m_l.fy

Dear ATB 2025,
You were always going to be a challenge, but thanks for really committing to the elemental suffering theme. I’ve never been a triathlete before, but swimming while riding was a surprisingly delightful new discipline. Next time I’ll bring my snorkel, floaties, and maybe a kayak for good measure.

Massive kudos to the absolute legends who battled the weather (and their life choices) to conquer their first ATB. I can confidently say it was the most fun I’ve ever had while slowly drowning.

And finally, a huge shout-out to my partner-in-crime and co-captain, @fergiekirsty , I couldn’t have asked for a better wingwoman to lead this soggy circus.

Here’s to dry socks, strong legs, and eating all the food in the name of "recovery".

Game changer in my training: a tiny ‘@spidoir coach’ that slips into my helmet and pops out on the hard climbs. What he lacks in stature, he more than makes up for with elite-level banter and relentless encouragement

For all women who want to ride far and fast.

This Saturday the 7th, join Melbourne’s original fast ride for women! This month’s route winds through the rolling hills of the North East, featuring the iconic Mt Pleasant. Expect 75km of punchy terrain with 1200m of climbing and a rolling average speed of 27-30km.

A ride for the experienced cyclist.
This is a drop ride, a true challenge for experienced cyclists. Be ready to look after yourself if you lose the bunch but dig deep and try to stay on... the coffee at the end will taste that much sweeter!

Fun fact: Ron Burgundy was a true gravel guy. His idea of ‘Afternoon Delight’? Rippin’ sunlit miles on his two-wheeled unicorn. ‘It's like riding on the most glorious rainbow.’ Stay classy, you dusty degenerates."

This crit season, I had the joy of shoving a mic in the faces of absolutely cooked riders at HCC Teardrop. As a certified race frother, nothing beats hearing how the chaos unfolded, from the battles at the front to the drama in the bunch.

Highlights?

“I figured I’d let this guy win this week.”

A podium speech written by ChatGPT, complete with heartfelt thanks to the guy’s derailleur.

Open A-Grade’s take on Mark O’Brien: “He’s too old and too fast. Someone has to stop him.”

WA dog podium 🐕

And of course, the legends who keep showing up week after week to throw themselves at this brutal little circuit. Respect.

Huge thanks to @hawthorncycling for letting me run wild, and @thepedla @llcc_pedla for the gear and hype.

To everyone who let me interrupt your lactic haze for a chat, you’re the real MVPs.

See you next season. Same teardrop. More chaos. Better quotes.
