The first night at Lake Tahoe felt like a dream…

Dinner on a pier with my favorite souls watching the sunset over one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen, memories I’ll hold onto forever.

This time last year, Kai and I hopped in our Prius to go on one of our most memorable adventures to date, the start of an 18 day honeymoon road trip from Kansas to Washington state. Our first stop was Grand Teton National Park.

We drove the 15 hours straight through the night, arriving at the Tetons just in time for sunrise. We sat on our blanket, bundled up against the cold, exhausted and excited as we watched the first light slowly illuminate the darkness and the stunning mountain range. As the sun came up, it brought gorgeous colors and warmth to the landscape.

This time of year, the trees were glowing in a golden honey light, the mountains were already dusted with snow, and everything felt so peaceful. The beauty was unmatched.

We spent the day setting up camp, exploring the park, taking in the views, and enjoying our first taste of what would end up being an incredible 18 days on the road and immersed in the wilderness. taken in Grand Teton National Park by @m_onicamarin

Girls trip to Cali for Alexa’s bachelorette! We stayed at the CUTEST Airbnb ever in Palm Springs. Of course, had to stop by the coastline to say hello to the ocean too before heading back to Kansas.
