POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Brigham with his Pavelle M4/8 Colour Printer and APAC (American Photo Appliance Corporation) 120/35 contact roll printer in March 2026. I had found the Pavelle many years ago online but wasn’t sure what to think of them… old gear, vague description and virtually unknown on the web. They eventually faded away and other equipment came into the picture. Needless to say, they were still in the back of my mind… After 6+ years at least, I found them once again for sale. Like most stories go, life got in the way and Brigham never sold them and made one final effort in doing so. They have sat idle since 2006 or so. I found the listing once again and knew I had no choice but to pick them up. It’s kind of ironic to have a black and white photo of one of the earliest color “mini lab” printers. Brigham made a good sum of money in his day photographing sporting events, fraternities and many other events of the like. He would process the film, make contact prints, sell preorders for enlargements then make the prints and deliver them all in the matter of a a couple days. Quite the hustle for the time as a one man show! Analog photography has so many levels, its depth never ceases to amaze me. Cheers to the latent image and all the magic surrounding it. People and machines included. #fujidl200 #kodakdoublex5222 #pavelle #APAC by @m_suhor
