Like it say’s in the photo “Yo tengo Raíces Berracas”. Raíces means roots. Berracas means valiant, strong, standing out, resistant, a word invented in Colombia.

What started as a typography/illustration passion project turned into a once in a lifetime experience of my work on the cover of a Moleskine Journal through Anthropology.

Thank you for the opportunity to sell my work at your stores. It’s a very special feeling to find your people in a crowd and for them to ask about your work because they could read the sign “YO TENGO RAÍCES BERRACAS” “I HAVE BRAVE ROOTS”.

My business card has all my last names, including my grandmother’s, because wherever I go I’m showing up as a result of their efforts.

Thank you @mcguiremcmanus for these beautiful photos. Thank you friends for showing up and making me feel so love. Thank you to anyone who has asked me about the experience. Thank you to anyone who has ordered the journal. (Available in my bio) and Thank you @jacktrego for being my #1 supporter 🤍 by @m_useche

Typography collecting in the streets of Paris with guest appearances from Strasbourg and Puerto Rico.

Highly recommended hunting for typography in a new place and even better if you’re competing against your significant other for the best hunts 🫡

Last day at BBDO and I can finally say I went from sitting in the orange carts helping my handyman dad pick out supplies to art directing commercials for them. Proud of myself for getting this far, por tener ganas de ir mucho más allá, and for finding people I absolutely adore along the way. 🙂‍↔️ taken in BBDO New York by @m_useche
