“There is a Zeta in a girl regardless of race, creed, or color, who has high standards of principles, a good scholarly average, and an active interest in all things that she undertakes to accomplish”- Viola Tyler Going.

To my five pearls, thank you for paving the way and creating a sorority so fine that quantity overrides quality. It’s a hard road to zeta land indeed.

To my sisters, my 21 Dovely Creations, The 21 SAVAGEZ, I could write a book and create a sequel and prequel about us. These past two years have been amazing and I wouldn’t have chosen to do this with anyone else! Growing up as the oldest sibling I would’ve never expected how it felt to have 20 sisters🥹Thank you for every late-night study session, community projects, and laugh-filled events, thank you for the love, the mentorship, and the countless moments that made this journey unforgettable; our bond will forever be my anchor. Im so proud of us, all our accomplishments, the good times, even the bad. I love yall dearly and truly. #spring24vseverybody

To the baby dovez, Fall 25 & Spring 2026, embrace the sisterhood, lift each other up, and remember that “we are women of worth, dignity, and purpose,” as our founders taught us-let that be your compass as you write your own Zeta story. Honor the legacy we’ve built, but dare to forge new traditions, because the strength of Zeta lives in the courage to innovate.

Graduating this spring and closing my position as Secretary of the Beta-Beta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta feels like the last line of a beautiful poem-one that I hope my sisters will keep reciting for years to come.Being the first Zeta in my family, I’m proud to start a legacy that will ripple through generations.

“Whenever the soil is rich the people flourish, physically and economically. Wherever the soil is wasted the people are wasted” - George Washington Carver

To my MANRRS Family- coming in as a second semester freshman I didn’t know what to expect. Initially coming to meetings as a major requirement but eventually becoming a MANRRS cabinet member. Being from a city agriculture isn’t big I would’ve never thought changing my major would be for me. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. White for always pushing me to do more and seeing my full potential. I’m forever grateful for the new opportunities showing me the different sides of agriculture. Thank you to the MANRRS cabinet for being my family away from family. I’ll never forget the bonds, the trips and all the memories. MANRRS truly and dearly made me love my department and major even more than I already did. As a city girl I’ve grown to love the country (sometimes).

Wearing the crowns of Miss MANRRS and MANRRS Secretary for these past two years taught me that leadership is less about titles and more about encouragement. Leaving the campus, a fierce promise to nurture growth wherever the spirit of agriculture can thrive. taken in University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff by @ma.rixh

To Dear Mother, Branch Normal, AM&N University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where do I begin? Thank you for accepting a girl from Saint Louis and creating the woman I am today.

First, I want to thank God, for getting me through these four years. I’ve carried a 3.0-plus GPA while navigating heartbreak, the ache of losing friends, and moments that tested my spirit, but God’s steady hand lifted me higher than I ever imagined.

Second, to my friends and family. Thank you for supporting me and believing in me. Moving five hours away from home is hard enough but without the love, support, prayers (and endless times of asking for money) I wouldn’t have made it this far.

Third, to my golden lion family, the professors, the mentors, the advisors, and especially the student success center, who believed and guided me and the friends who laughed and cried with me, you all are the roots of my success.

As I close this chapter, I’m grateful for every tear, every challenge, and every blessing that shaped me, and I can’t wait to sow the next season of dreams.

I am more than blessed to announce I will be graduating from THEE University Of Arkansas At Pine Bluff The Flagship Of The Delta Saturday, May 9th at 10:00 am, with an Bachelors of Science in Agriculture Business! taken in University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff by @ma.rixh
