Happy Eldest Daughter Day 🤎✨

Being the eldest daughter has taught me that strength is not always about being the loudest in the room. Sometimes, strength looks like quietly carrying things, showing up when you are tired, being the one others lean on, and still finding a way to smile.

I have learnt that being an eldest daughter is a beautiful mixture of responsibility, sacrifice, leadership, tenderness and love. We grow up learning to care deeply, to protect, to encourage, to make room for others, and sometimes to put our own feelings aside just to make sure everyone else is okay.

But one of the greatest things I have learnt is this: we love above all. ❤️
Even when we are tired. Even when we don’t have all the answers. Even when nobody sees the weight we carry. Our hearts still find a way to give, to forgive, to nurture and to believe in the people we love.

We have learnt to be strong, but we are also allowed to be soft.
We can lead and still need support.
We can care for everyone and still deserve to be cared for.
We can carry responsibility without having to carry everything alone.

To every eldest daughter: I see you.
For the strength you have shown, the sacrifices you have made, the love you have poured out, and the person you continue to become.

May you never forget that you are more than what you do for others. You are worthy of love, rest, joy, celebration and being cared for too. 🥹❤️

Happy Eldest Daughter Day to us.
