Race day habits are built long before race day.
Every practice gives athletes hundreds of opportunities to work on a wall, streamline, underwater, breakout, and transition. The question isn’t whether they’re practicing them — it’s what they’re practicing.

Join RaceBetter at Georgia Tech’s McAuley Aquatic Center for a two-day Starts, Turns & Underwaters Technical Workshop with 🇦🇷 Olympian Santi Grassi and Coach Ben Lee.

October 17–18, athletes will work through the details that can change a race: body awareness and posture, underwater technique and timing, carrying speed into and out of the wall, start setup and power, entry angles, breakouts, and transitions.

Every practice gives swimmers hundreds of opportunities to improve the details that determine what happens when they race — the start, the entry, the underwater, the breakout, the approach to the wall, and the speed they carry out of it.

On October 17–18, Olympian Santi Grassi and Coach Ben Lee are bringing RaceBetter to Georgia Tech’s McAuley Aquatic Center for a two-day Starts, Turns & Underwaters Technical Workshop.

This isn’t about collecting more drills. Athletes will work on the body awareness, posture, timing, wall speed, transitions, and technical decisions that allow them to move faster through the parts of a race where significant time can be gained — or lost.
