At long last, I managed to upload a walk video! Never enough room at home to shoot it, but a few minutes of downtime at @thehouseofmulberry the other day allowed me to balance my phone precariously on a (plastic) cactus 😆 The music doesn’t match up but is better than silence or the static of the background. by @maaike.models

I've set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for top surgery - something I've wanted for a long, long time but something I will never be able to do without your help.

I know money is tight for many people - quite obviously as I'm doing this fundraiser! But if you would be willing to share this with people who may be able to help or share it more widely, I'd be so, so grateful.

Thank you in advance!

I had fun working on The Split Up (BBC) a while ago as an SA (aka an extra), which is now available on iPlayer.

You can see me coming from a mile off in my sparkly tunic, which worked so well in the soft focus, bokeh type opening effect 😆

It was a very, VERY cold evening, filled with random weirdos yelling abuse at us as we were filming, one of the leading actors being incredibly kind & giving me his hand warmers, & having excellent banter with football-loving drag queens. Always exciting! taken in Gay Village by @maaike.models

I got lucky that it was chilly enough to wear my beloved beanie this morning 😆
After an amazing avant garde beauty shoot with the most stunning creations by @catpartridgemua yesterday in Birmingham, I hopped on the train straight to meet my family for dinner out (hooray for Tesco clubcard points!). I collapsed straight into bed afterwards and slept like the dead, meaning my hair was quite a state this morning on the school run.

I will be at @basfordphotographylocation in the afternoon of 30th October!

The lovely Leanne at Basford has confirmed that the morning slot has not yet been booked, so if anyone would like to discuss working together, please drop me a message. I would be available to shoot until 13.00 at the latest.

I am mostly accepting only paid work, but concepts that explore artistic, surrealist, avant garde, and/or gender subversive themes might pique my interest to accept a part paid/or collaborative arrangement, particularly if a full creative team is involved. by @maaike.models
