My brother and I have one rule: miss a birthday, send champagne. Today he made it in person but still broke tradition in the best way possible—surprising me with a superb 1992 Château Lafite Rothschild. What better way to toast to my 41st? 🍷✨ Thank you @arnau_maan ❤️ taken in Barcelona, Spain by @maan_series

Chassagne-Montrachet has some of my fav whites in the world. This 2018 Premier Cru Les Ruchottes is simply another masterpiece from the king of Montrachet, Jean-Claude Ramonet. #cheers

1972 Chateau Haut Brion was the pull that I facilitated for christmas lunch. Being Haut Brion one of our favourite chateaus the expectation were above high... and it did not disappoint. We couldn't believe how vibrant and young it felt after 46 years... a memorable one.

What a better way to toast for a new chapter than with a memorable millenium wine? My dear friend Sinem and @englishpominnyc just moved to the other side of the ocean so we opened a 2000 Chateau Brane Cantenac for our last dinner at their home in Kensington. The wine was simply perfect, after a pretty smooth uncorking it opened incredibly fast unveiling very delicate and elegant notes of oak cassis and black fruit... it felt so Margaux!!! A huge thank you to my friend for sharing the bottle with me, but most importantly, for being such an amazing friend that I will miss so much here in London. The next bottle is on me (I will not disappoint) see you both soon in Manhattan ❤️. taken in Kensington, United Kingdom by @maan_series

1983 Chateau La Tour Haut Brion is a complex gem with a wonderful evolution. When we uncorked the bottle the first sip was extremely smoky... it felt like a scotch!!! We were fascinated. 2 hours of slow oxygenation and 1 decanting after it opened and the notes of smoke and earth allowed the black fruits to appear... We were in heaven. #cheers
