last july, we were going through a miscarriage. this july, we'll have our rainbow baby. 🌿
at our first appointment, the doctor confirmed my due date; 𝘫𝘶𝘭𝘺 2𝘯𝘥. the day my nephew, camden, was born in 2020. the day that changed my whole family's lives forever. cam lived a challenging life & passed away at only 17 months old. but man did he leave an impact in those 17 months. the feeling of sharing that special date with him is hard to put into words. he's still showing up in ways i could have only ever imagined.
this pregnancy has felt so special & some days i still can't believe this is real life. we are so ready to meet the little girl who has already stolen our hearts. for now, i'll cherish the last few weeks of feeling her little kicks & being thankful for the body that has carried her this far. 🤎

O N E ❣️
our sweet shi turned one last weekend and i'm still in denial. how has one whole year gone by already??? you're the best thing to ever happen to us and i'm not sure how we got so lucky. you give life a whole new, beautiful meaning. sometimes it still doesn't feel real, being your parents, but we couldn't be more in love with you if we tried!! we cannot wait to watch you grow and learn and continue seeing life through your eyes.

Dear @maanda.esparza ,

Taking a moment for you, to thank you for carrying, birthing, and nourishing our little girl. I truly don’t know how I’d navigate the sleepless nights, endless diapers, unknowns, ups and downs, and all the twists and turns that come with first-time parenthood without you by my side.

This first (almost) year of being parents hasn’t always been easy, but you’ve shown Shiloh relentless love, patience, and care every single day without hesitation. It’s something I’ll forever admire about you, but also something I knew you’d be amazing at from the very first day I met you.

So grateful knowing Shiloh gets to grow up with you as her momma ❤️‍🔥 by @maanda.esparza

screaming. crying. throwing up.

this has been the hardest yet most beautiful month. i've cried. i've laughed. i've questioned everything. but i've never felt so in love with anything ever in my life. nothing will ever compare to watching a tiny version of you and your best friend grow right in front of your eyes.

4.2.2022 ✨ we did the damn thing! just me, levi, and hux. & it was P E R F E C T. since getting engaged, i’ve been stressed about when, where, how i wanted this day to be. we kept putting it off because i was too overwhelmed. i was completely overthinking everything. so a week ago, i finally said f*ck it. we made our appt to get the marriage license on friday. we didn’t book our hotel until thursday morning. i did my own hair and makeup, like i do every day. i wore clothes i had in my closet. we wore matching vans. we drove around estes looking for a good spot. our only solid plan for the weekend? GET MARRIED. we signed our marriage license on a skateboard. hux was our witness (bc that’s legal in colorado.) we set up our phones and recorded. there happened to be a festival in town so there was live music playing in the background. we were completely alone. we told NO ONE. we facetimed our families afterwards and shared the news. it was beautiful. we ate a fancy dinner, got in comfy clothes and then went down to the lake for sunset. we were in bed by 10pm.
i’ve come to terms that everyone’s wedding day looks different and everyone has a different perspective on “perfect.” well this was our day, and to us, it was perfect.
