The League VIII - lessons to take with me🙏
The fight didn't go as I imagined it will. I was disappointed with myself that I didn't execute my training properly, but these things happen & get better with ring experience. I just felt that I couldn't find the right distance to go in & do my work.
My training & fight prep was one my best to this date.
I want to say a Huge Thank You to my muay thai coach @zeemuaythai for all the padwork, sparring & knowledge he shares with us daily🙏
I also want to thank my boxing coach (!) @kardopeetri who trained my movement pattern specifically for this fight - I really feel that I would've been even more stuck without him🙏
Our forever forward pushing S&C coach @kaidoleesmann who just pushes our limits futher with every training🥵
And I am always beyond happy to do it all beside @astriiidjohanna with whom I can share the experience of preparation, the struggles, the happy accidents & neverending thoughts🙏🤍

I have to say - i Loooove💛 the process of preparing for a fight: the dedication i have to put in to keep the process going. Every minute of every day is accounted for & dedicated to achieve one goal in mind. The focus, the determination, the non-negotiable regime to become my absolute best. But...the price that comes with it - the mental struggles of "am i going to get ready in time", "is my body going to recover enough", "am i doing enough training", "when can i go back to regular life", "i am tired & don't want to go" are a bitch. I know that it is all part of the process of getting ready for a fight but i feel like nobody openly talks about it. I know it is all normal, because i have been through it a few times now & i talk about it with my friends from the gym. But there are some days that are just brutal for the mind🧘‍♀️. Yet, i feel that we have to talk about this part too, so that the next generation of fighters know, that there is support out there for the rough moments as well!
This time, i found some little gems 💎 to make it easier for myself (i still had some pretty rough moments) as i have been through it a few times before & i loved all of it even more💛
Taking all the lessons for my next time & can't wait to learn some more valuable lessons to keep the process even more enjoyable & help out my students as well🙏

👑This was my first ever pro class win, but I had already won within my mindset 🫶
Before this fight, I could finally put into words for Myself, how blessed I am in life to have found such an outlet where I can continue to learn every day to become stronger, to become wiser, to become a better athlete, a better coach, a better person in general. Not all people have that opportunity in their life where they can continuously put themselves into challenges, to overcome themselves, to learn & gain knowledge time & time again. I am already a winner in my life to have found this passion called Muay Thai🤍
Thank You everyone who has been & continue to be on this interesting journey with me called life (within sports).
Thank You Girls, @astriiidjohanna & @ssonjaa_a , for always carrying me through my doubtful mind 🙏
