2 years ago, I discovered papier maché using specifically moulded cane and tissue paper. Made these shell inspired forms for the Eternal Shore shoot, an idea that was just a seed. I worked on these forms all through spring and summer it was so wonderful
Although they didn’t fit with the final editorial they brought me so much joy, calm and purpose working on each.
So nice to share clips from a very different but wholesome time 🤍

Tactile art is so powerful!! Get out of your head and into your body!!

With one of my forever muse’s @zoeshearervink at the most beautiful Airbnb she found in rural VIC 🖤

What a way to start the year — a return to whimsy play :*•.

So much of my teenage years were spent creating shoots, photographing friends and trying on all the hats to make a picture happen. I forgot how much that kind of collaboration frees you up to just play. A moodboard, a dolled-up bestie and a random location - that’s it.

To coexist and co-create with someone who truly knows you is such a gift. Friends ground us in the most quiet, necessary ways — they remind you how to be

I love how different mediums find you at different chapters. Tactile making brings me so much joy. I forgot how inspiring light can be — and how it feels to capture the world through your own frame.

6 months ago had the pleasure of doing some interior styling/consulting for @valeonstudiosinc . The brief was to warm up the space, invite coziness and more creativity. A vibe to signify a new chapter but not drastic.
Managed to transform (and hang) a branch, creating a calm, grounding anchor to the space

Huge thanks to major goddess and real life angel @vannia_gabriella who was so collaborative and so trusting. Was such a healing project for us both 🌝🖤🖤✨ by @maartrick

Our Christmas party was a Victoriana masquerade at the beautiful @villa_alba_museum . Was so inspired by the hand painted murals, I made a swan and candelabras to centre the space.

Bases created with rubbish/skewers, layered with paper clay, plaster, some paper towel and gyprock . Styled with foliage from the garden !

Wish I had more plaster bandage BTS but it is simply SO messy
