Meraki, The Essence of Self.

What ignites a fire beneath you? Is it a thought-provoking idea, the allure of connection, or the suffocating grip of fear?

This collection contains the essence of self, an exploration of the elements that make us who we are. Love, Creativity, and Fear, these are the first steps.

These emotions are the fuel that ignites a thirst within. When you embrace it, time becomes irrelevant, the noise of the world lowers to a whisper.

They shape our desires, mold our dreams, and thrust us toward our goals.

That is the Essence of Self. That is Meraki.

My very first short film.

Da VII.LAGE

An ode to, the transitional period of funk and pop to the early 80s. An explosion of creative expression. Sit back, relax, and let the vibes of DA VII.LAGE Radio wash over you.

This is first of many film pieces to come

Thank you to all of those that helped with this film, this truly wouldn’t have been done without you.

THE OUTLAWS

By peering into the future we are looking at a different side of black cowboys. One that has evolved from a cultural mix of Southern and Western culture that is heavily influenced by music and the rebelling of political and social norms.

By taking a Western-style classic and molding it into more Afro-punk, to honor two groups that have been heavily influenced by black people.
