Monday Declaration 📜

But make it a music...

Yesterday in church, the choir ministered "What a Miracle Feels Like" by Tauren Wells, and every single word hit home💯

This part especially:

“I’m not who I was
Look how far I’ve come
And I know God’s not done
He’s got me in the middle of a miracle
I’m gonna have a testimony
Of how You brought me through the night
But even in the middle, I’m singing
My God, this is what a miracle feels like.”

And just when I thought the message couldn't get any louder, my pastor came up and said: “If it doesn't end in victory, then it's not over. So don't lose your hallelujah!” whoooshhhh🔥🔥🔥

So this is my declaration for this week:

I will not lose my hallelujah in the middle.

I may not have seen the ending yet, but I know who holds the pen.

I read somewhere that you should treat your page like a visual diary, so I am keeping this here🥹

My 28-month-old toddler has been cracking us up lately with her vocabulary and the little phrases she comes up with, and I just had to document some of them because I really don’t want to forget this season. So, this might be a new Friday series but we'd see how it goes😊

I genuinely can’t believe how grown my baby is getting😭 When did she go from babbling to actually putting words together and forming full little phrases?!

Parenthood really is watching your baby grow right before your eyes and somehow wishing you could pause time just a little. 🥹

So, future me, here’s your reminder: she was 28 months, chatty, hilarious and saying the funniest things😂

Let’s just pretend you saw the Day 1 vlog yesterday because this has been sitting in my drafts for DAYS! 😂 This week has honestly been one of the busiest I’ve had in a while.

Anyway, THANK YOU, Birmingham! ❤️ We’ve had our fun, made some memories, and now we are officially back to our Swansea! 😂

But please, Birmingham drivers need to attend another class because WHAT in the name of driving was all that?🫣I love my Swansea drivers biko!

It was also SO good to see my pumpkin @mimah_funmi after 5 whole years! I missed you so much, and I’m so glad we finally got to catch up.

And a special shoutout to @eko77.uk for completely changing our restaurant experience from “I am about to give up on African restaurants in Birmingham” to “okayyy, maybe there’s hope”👏🏾

And that brings us to the end of Summer 2026.

Daddy and mummy are out of the office and we decided to parent in another location😂

Off to Birmingham we went🚕

Today was not funny at all, from locating our apartment to finding a resturant to eat and finding two restuarants closed without any notice online, to the third making us wait 1 hour 40 minutes for our food🤦‍♀️😫

But hey, we move! 😂

I don't know about you, but I am genuinely happy to see this new month💃 Not because anything extraordinary has happened yet, although I am expectant of great breakthroughs, but because July was a LOT!

It came with changes, adjustments, moments of ill health, and responsibilities that stretched me in different ways.

Yet, through it all, we're still standing.

For that alone, I am grateful.

So here's to a new month. A fresh start. New mercies. New strength. New opportunities. And the quiet confidence that God is already working things out in our favour.

Welcome, August. I'm ready for all the good you have in store!!!

Happy New Month everyone! May this month be kinder, lighter, and filled with answered prayers.
