Which decade made you fall in love with music, fashion, games, or movies? Take a trip across a century of shared memories with ‘POP: A Visual History’! Written by pop culture scholar Annekathrin Kohout (@kohout), this oversized discovery book brings 100 years of global pop culture to life across 11 vibrant decades. Every spread turns back the clock! You will journey from 1920s jazz halls and 1950s jukeboxes to 1980s neon leg warmers, 1990s Game Boys, and today’s viral trends. Eleven international illustrators each take on a single decade, creating a visual tapestry that spans generations. This is more than a history lesson. It is an invitation for kids, parents, and grandparents to sit together, turn the pages, and swap stories. Ask your family: What was cool when you were ten? Swipe through the carousel to preview every decade from the 1920s to the 2020s - can you guess which slide belongs to which decade? Pick up your copy of ‘POP: A Visual History’ now! 💛❤️ Featuring illustrations by Laura Page (@laurapage___), Marieme Ba (@mabaillustrates), Pauline Pete (@hipaulinepete), Stefānija Janovska (@stefanija_jankovska_art), Yayo Kawamura (@yayokawamura), Juliane Filep (@julianefilep), Anne-Sophie Engelhardt (@winterhart.studios), Chiara Xie (@chiaraxie_art) David Huang (@omguac), Vivi John (@vivijohn_), and Moritz Wienert (@moritzwienert) by @mabaillustrates
