Enjoyed our time on Haida Gwaii exploring the forests and the beaches. Living in a big house with lots of mates is the most fun you can have. Jamie and Annie’s wedding at the Tlell Fairgrounds on Haida Gwaii. Traveling 4500 miles to an island near Alaska to see your friends get married seemed like a crazy idea but it was completely worth it. A special place for a special occasion. The wedding was easily the most colourful and eccentric one I’ve ever been to and a beautiful demonstration of love, community and friendship. We started our BC adventures by spending a day in Vancouver walking the seawall, enjoying the sunshine and eating poutine. I managed to lose my hat in a bar. We then went up to Squamish and hiked the Stawamus Chief with some incredible views. 700m of elevation earns you great Mexican food as a reward. taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @mabbbott

I forgot to post anything in February so here’s a bonus 2 month update. Trips away, weddings, birthdays, meals, pints, new doors and watching the Dune 3 trailer a million times. by @mabbbott

After a busy end to the year it was nice to spend January doing mostly the same thing every week. Wintery walks, trips to the cinema, enjoying nice meals and putting pyjamas on at 5pm. I bought a new TV and got a small promotion at work too. Not bad. by @mabbbott

Saw a paint by numbers set in a shop last year that looked just like my pal Daisy. I spent many happy afternoons last summer painting it and I’m pretty pleased with the outcome. We’ve even managed to drag the star out from behind the sofa to pose with it. I’m available for commissions btw. by @mabbbott

Going back to work tomorrow so have been reminiscing about a very fun and busy December. Saw one of my favourite bands, was treated to an incredible meal that I’ll never forget, drank lots, ate more, and spent plenty of time seeing all the best people. Christmas and New Year’s has been restorative and relaxing, I’m excited to see what 2026 brings 🍾 by @mabbbott

Remember, remember, the things that happened in November. Did a Warhammer 40k themed escape room, volunteered for a day at a homeless shelter, ate tacos and bowled a perfect game (in my mind). by @mabbbott
