I want to take a moment before heading into this evening to thank @itgetsbretter for loving my crazy colourful mind, and being my biggest supporter and fan in anything and everything I do in life. 🥰🥰

I want also thank the wonderful staff at @pegasusonchurch for the opportunity to showcase my work in their legendary bar. Queer spaces are sacred and special - and it’s an honour to have my art in yours. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

This collection is dedicated to the memory of @rickyfriggenkruger - an artist, a friend and a colourful mind gone too soon. 🤍

It’s all happening! I can’t wait to celebrate tonight!

I have been making art collections since 2018. COLOURFUL MIND is my seventh one! 7️⃣🎉 Normally a collection takes me 5-6 months (roughly) to complete - this one took over a year. I allowed myself time to play around, experiment and most of all think about what these pieces all have to say - individually and as a group. I spent so many late nights working on COLOURFUL MIND, so to finally share it with so many friends last night was beyond rewarding! 🥰🥹 thank you so so much to everyone who came out! You have no idea how supported and loved I felt last night. ❤️

I once again want to give a big big thank you to my right hand them @itgetsbretter who peddled those print sales and got so many prints into the hands of so many friends! (We have a few more to deliver - will get in touch with you to arrange drop offs!) 💌
Thank you sooooo much for everything baby! 💕💕💕
TYSM to the hotties at @pegasusonchurch @brencx @david.fox.actor for all of their help with the exhibit and keeping the cocktails flowing all night! 🍹

COLOURFUL MIND is on display for five more weeks, so if you’re at Pegasus check it out! I’ll be there this Wednesday night for Survivor and I’ll bring prints with me! :-) If you’re interested in buying prints - hit me up, or follow the link to my newly relaunched Etsy page. 🛍️🖼️

I will start sharing the individual pieces over the next few weeks but until then just one more big THANK YOU to everyone who came out last night, who bought prints, who DM’ed, sent well wishes — all of it! Thank you thank you thank you 🙏🏼❤️
I feel the love big time! 🥰🥰

YOU CAN’T SPELL PARTY WITHOUT ART! 🖼️

Tonight is the night! 🥳😍 Join me at @pegasusonchurch from 7-10PM for the opening night drop-in social! 🎉

Let’s look at some art, have a cocktail, talk about colour and design, giggle, play some pool - the possibilities are endless! Stay for a bit, stay for the whole time! 🍻 I’ll have prints for sale (8x10’s & 11x14” on cardstock) if anyone wants to bring a piece of COLOURFUL MIND home with them. 🛍️

Looking SO forward to seeing everyone tonight and finally sharing COLOURFUL MIND with you! 💖🧠 xo

COLOURFUL MIND
No. 2 🩵🩷💛❤️

If I were to pick my top 3 favourite colour duos of all time, red+pink would be one of them. Together combined with this butter yellow and muted turquoise, the palette for No. 2 packs a super sweet punch!
Makes me want a fist full of colourful candy real bad! 🍬😋🍬

There are still prints available!
If you are interested in one - shoot me a message - more than happy to do a drop off if you’re in Toronto, or you can follow the link in my bio to my Etsy page if you live elsewhere 🖼️💖

One of my greatest joys with making art comes when someone wants to hang one of my pieces up in their home. It is such an honour and I am more than happy to offer up a couple ways to make that transaction happen. 🤗

You can follow the link in my bio to my Etsy page and browse my available prints for purchase. If you live outside Toronto, I will be quick to send it your way when you place your order. 💌
If you live in Toronto, I am happy to arrange a drop-off and skip the shipping. I have a few to do this week and I can’t wait to hand deliver your pieces to you all! 🥰🥰

COLOURFUL MIND
No. 1 💚💜🧡💙

***

I got asked a lot on Friday night which piece took the longest to design. Without a doubt it was this one. It was the blueprint for the rest of the collection, and I probably worked on it for 8-9 months before finally getting it to a point of completion (or almost). I took my sweet time! 🧘🏻‍♂️ From there I was able to work through the rest of the designs one by one - and then go back and finesse them all at the same time. 👨🏻‍💻✨

I love this palette. Frig I love them all! 😍 This is the palette I used for the promos over the last few weeks. The colour combos of each piece give off a different vibe/energy - and this one gives me that fun, funky 90’s YTV/Nickelodeon branding or something. 🫟🦠

I’m going to go into more detail about the collection as I roll out the pieces onto my grid one by one over the next couple of weeks. With my art, everything has a purpose and there is always lots to talk about.
As Madonna says, “there’s always a reason.” 😘💫

Happy September everyone! 👋🏻
I am SO excited to announce my NEW collection of digital art! 🎉 COLOURFUL MIND will debut this October at @pegasusonchurch where it will be on display for 6 weeks! 🧠🎨

It’s been four years since my last full collection of artwork (FAIRY, 2022). The last exhibition of FAIRY in 2024 was also at Pegasus and I am so grateful for the opportunity to display my work there once again. I love that big purple wall (and that bar!) in the heart of the Village! 🌈

I’ve been working on this collection for well over a year (maybe closer to two tbh) and it is my most personal and autobiographical work thus far. I can’t wait to share it with you all. 🥰

Lots more on COLOURFUL MIND and what it is all about as we get closer to October! 🧡🧡🧡

Stay tuned! 🦋

The only AI I use is Adobe Illustrator, baby! 👨🏻‍💻🧡

With so many posters and flyers out there lately looking the exact same 🤖 I thought it was a good time to remind you all that my website hosts a handful of my favourite posters (and more) from the last almost 20 years in the biz, all completely designed by me with my 3 programs (Indesign/Photoshop), with love and care. 🥰
I actively avoid using AI images and try to keep my work as authentic as possible, always.
