This is the first time I’ve seen tofu pudding as a drink topping and I think I’m a fan. The texture is quite silky and melts right in your mouth as you take a sip. Also I am stoked that Soy Bean Chan flower shop is back! The interior is gorgeous and prices are still pretty low.

I love the smell of hot pot, just not on me. This was the first time I saw anything like this - a deodorizer that just blasts you with a burst of cool, fresh air. So cool!!

Pleasantly surprised by this Fuzhou oyster pancakes! I loved how crispy it was on the outside and it overly doughy fike others!n I’ve had. Also so much delicious filling and chunky oysters!

I’ve passed by the spot many times during the daytime, but I hadn’t stopped by at night. I never thought that there would be such a intimate and upscale bar right here in Flushing. The space itself is so cozy yet spacious with lots of people gathering and grabbing drinks and others that are studying and working on the side. The bar was really interesting because it was very high up so it really felt like I was looking up at a stage when the bartenders were making the drinks. I’m not the biggest whiskey person, but the selection seems to be endless. I loved the display of all the drinks, but I enjoyed their cocktails even more. I ordered a cocktail that tasted like a Melona bar 🍈 and another that reminded me of a strawberry shortcake 🍰

I would go for salt bread over toast any day! If you haven’t had salt bread before, it’s like the ultimate fusion between a croissant 🥐 and milk bread 🍞It creates the most amazing buttery flavor with a soft and fluffy texture. I’m glad I no longer need a plane ticket to Korea to get my fix.

Salt Bread Ko takes it to the next level with their specialty spreads like kimchi bacon, guava, and even truffle (which I highly recommend).

If your hands aren’t messy afterwards, it wasn’t a good taco! 🌮 These tacos were insanely good and soo juicy, it literally started spilling out with each bite. I really loved the char on these tacos and how fragrant the meat was. The Al pastor was my favorite but the chicken taco was a close second with its tender meat. Can’t believe I’m only discovering this spot now!

I basically stopped getting my nails done about a year ago since I’m a full press-on nails convert now. The set that I put on over a week ago from @misssunshine_nails isn’t even lifting one bit and I’ve been using them carefree to wash dishes and even move furniture! Not sure what voodoo magic went into it but I’m sold! 💕

This spot has some of the chunkiest nigiri I’ve ever seen! 🍣Golden Mall recently opened up in FiDi and this sushi spot is a solid choice for affordable sushi. They have a really good fish to rice ratio, which is rare these days. I wish they had some more toppings for their poké bowls, but their roll combos are a great deal.

Gatcha just opened up their new location in Ktown and it’s MASSIVE. There’s 5 floors with an arcade, claw machines, photobooths, karaoke, a cafe, and even a PC cafe. I’ve only seen multi-floor arcades like this in Asia and I’m so glad that we finally have one! I’ve always said that we needed some more third spaces and Ktown is the perfect location for this. The best new hang out spot with friends or for a fun date.

I love dry hot pot but it’s hard to get a single serving of it as it’s normally a shareable dish. I love this spot because they have smaller individual portions (which are lowkey huge too) starting at $13. You can also get malatang too - for the soup lovers out there. They have so many other dishes and everything is so affordable and tasty.

The Snow King has officially arrived in Flushing! ❄️⛄️ There’s no soft opening promos because it’s already cheap enough, but I had to check it out anyways. Ultimately waited about an hour for everything and they definitely have some kinks to work out, but worth the price for sure. Had to splurge for the matcha soft serve and it’s surprisingly really good, especially for only $1.69.
