They try to limit the access, but we’re still outside. Still hiking. Still healing. Still taking up space in the places meant for all of us… They can limit the access… but not the joy. #blacktravelers #outdooradventure #hikingculture #thenarrows #outside taken in Zion National Park by @mac3thatsme

Hiking The Narrows in Zion National Park was the adventure of our trip 🤍⛰️

We started with coffee at Canyon Coffee, grabbed our gear from Zion Outfitters, and parked early at the Zion National Park Visitor Center before hopping on the shuttle.

The shuttle drops you at the Temple of Sinawava (the last stop!), and from there it’s a peaceful one-mile walk before you literally step into the river and the canyon walls close in. Cold water, towering sandstone, and nonstop views — The Narrows is unreal.

Tips for hiking The Narrows:
• Start early for parking + fewer crowds
• Rent the proper gear (don’t skip the waterproof socks 👌🏾)
• Shuttle only—no private cars during peak season
• Bring snacks, water, and protection for your phone/camera

If Zion is on your list, save this for your trip!

Utah’s outdoors was made for moments like this ⛰️. Hiking, laughing, building community — all in the middle of jaw-dropping nature. Our group trip is about showing that Black travelers belong everywhere, especially in the wild.

Would you hit the trails with us? 👣

📍Komodo Island, Indonesia 🇮🇩 Home of the Komodo dragon, the largest lizard in the world!!! 😱🦎

Jurassic Park was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Besides this and universal studios, I think this is the closest I’ll ever get to that unfortunately 😂

It was still a nice experience getting to see these amazing creatures up close and personal. They’re highly venomous, so it’s recommended to keep a safe distance and stay close to your guide. Definitely worth a visit though!

I can’t speak on any of the passport bro or illicit activities that may go on while traveling abroad. I’m just here for the cheap cost of living and vibes 😎🌴
