Croissant + brownie = Crownie, right?

Calling all chocolate lovers. These are filled with our complex deep, rich, and fudgy brownies. We use two kinds of chocolate and never use cocoa powder for our brownies. So this beauty has crunch, chew, and goo.

Some of you may or may not know this, but @meowparlour is moving to a new location. Over the past 7 or so years, our current Macaron Parlour location has been next door to Meow Parlour - completing the cafe part of the cat cafe.

Meow Parlour's last day at its current spot is tomorrow and it will be closed for at least 2 weeks to transition to the new space. Since we're also part owners of the cat cafe, we'll also be scaling back our cafe schedule so we can spend some time on the transition as well as work on new menu items for the new space. As business owners, it's so tempting to go full speed 100% of the time, but one thing we've learned over the past 14 years is that it's silly to burn ourselves out by trying to give off the appearance that everything is completely normal.

But, we're going to be moving boxes and everyone will be sore! We want to allow our employees to have a little bit of a break to recover! So in the spirit of acknowledging our human-ness and the limits of our bodies, we're going to be modifying our schedule during this transition.

Starting next week, Macaron Parlour will be closed from Mon-Wed and will be open from Thursday-Sunday. We'll still be shipping your online orders on Tuesday. ❤️ Can't wait to show you some of our new menu items at the new Meow Parlour space in April. by @macaronparlour

When I was in pastry school, we learned the importance of testing to see if everything was fully proofed. The croissant was ready to be baked. The kitten is deceivingly puffy, but needs another 4 weeks of proofing before being ready for adoption. by @macaronparlour
