Bravery is hard.

In 2022, God asked me to pack up my life and move to California to pursue missions. I was confused, full of fear, uncertain of what was ahead, and to be honest, had my own plans that I thought were better than God’s.

I remember the afternoon my parents dropped me off at my new house and left. I knew they’d be getting on a plane the next morning, and I couldn’t bear the thought of being all alone on the other side of the country. The gap from Michigan to California suddenly felt extremely big. I went into the bathroom, looked in the mirror, and watched tears roll down my cheeks. I desperately wanted to call my mom and tell her to come back. I wanted her to tell me it was going to be okay. I wanted my dad to hug me like he’d see me again tomorrow.

Everything in me wanted to be brave — except in that moment, I didn’t know how.

We all want to conquer our fears, to do hard things, and to prove ourselves wrong. But the thing about bravery is that the enemy will always try to counterattack with fear.

In the weeks that followed, I found safety in the Lord. I learned that bravery isn’t a personality trait — it’s a byproduct of trust. The kind of bravery that changes your life only comes from Jesus.

So if you’re standing on the edge of something that feels too big, take the step anyway. Because when you trust Him, bravery becomes your testimony. 💫 by @macaylabisher

When I was a little girl, I used to dream about what my life would look like when I was older.

I remember watching a movie about a girl visiting Hollywood—she saw the ocean and the Hollywood sign, and I thought, I want to experience that someday.
I remember watching Monte Carlo and being jealous that Selena Gomez got to see the Eiffel Tower.

I dreamed of having friendships like the ones you only see in movies.
I longed to live with purpose—to do something I actually love, instead of just clocking into a 9 to 5.

And by the mercy of God, at just 25 years old, so many of those dreams have come true.

It’s a beautiful and humbling thing to travel the world and tell people about the love of God.
To witness the beauty of other nations.
To meet people with different cultures and stories.

It’s so sweet of the Lord to have moved me to California—where I’m just an hour from the Hollywood sign and 10 minutes from the ocean.
This spring, I saw the Eiffel Tower with my own eyes and explored a castle in Stockholm.

And it’s by His grace that I have friendships that feel like family—my sweet girls who walk with me through the best and the worst, and a community that loves the Lord deeply.

I may not be rich…
But in my heart, I feel richer than most. 💗💫

The SEND tour is done 🥲 Over the past few weeks, I’ve been traveling across Southern California, helping capture what God is doing in a generation. The Lord has shown up powerfully—activating believers to step into their God-given calling and commissioning high schoolers to reach their peers. Watching thousands gather under the name of Jesus has been deeply marking. Each night, as I looked out over the crowd, I was speechless that I would be given such a view: to see the faces of people encountering God afresh. God is moving across the globe, and He is moving here in Southern California!! ❤️‍🔥📸 by @macaylabisher
