“TAKE A LITTLE TIME” JUST PREMIERED:))

WOAH! making this film literally altered my brain chemistry in so many ways and i’m endlessly grateful to the most amazing cast and crew for making this story come to life!

i wrote TAKE A LITTLE TIME with the help of @female.antagonist ! it’s a spin off of my own coming-of-age experience to move home and deal with grief and loss while also discovering who you are. for this film i knew i wanted to make a few big bold choice within the confines of a small student budget… cause why not? and it ALL paid off! i have a few quick fun facts and thank you’s to stay so bear with me;)

My favorite parts… Asking @maryrosebranick to write an original song AND star in my film… she said yes and absolutely smashed it. When i wrote this film i had her in mind as the lead since day one and i couldn’t see ANYONE else playing it.

ALSO…. casting MY DAD! art and music has always been SUCH a big part of my family and when i wrote this dad and daughter story i auditioned so many people but kept thinking… what if my dad played this role. He was nervous but KILLED IT! i got to have both my parents on set and cried way to many times watching them lock in!

to my key crew…OMG I DONT KNOW WHERE TO START. you all saw my vision through and through and i’m so thankfully we got to create this…together!
