They’re the Living proof of “Unity is strength.” Tigers and elephants fear them. They’ll finish eating to the bones while the prey is still alive.

About the moment. Like usual, we were driving on the main road while raining on a fine afternoon hoping to find something. That’s when suddenly appa and I had this dead stench while crossing a thick bush. Guessed something was hunted down and took a U-turn. That’s exactly when we saw last 3 of a pack of Dholes (AKA Indian Wild dogs) crossing the road at the same point. And hey! I’m saying this again, the one I took is the largest male I have ever seen and it was all drenched in the rain. And Apde it moved on! Just see the beard it has!

And apart from the bush in the front and the frame, did you notice that its eyes were perfectly focused?

Always have eyes on the branches too!
When you're in a forest, coz they have guardians to protect!

You can never outrun from a leopard. It can run fast. It can climb trees. It can see at nights. More than anything, it's very clever. When you see a leopard like this in a night trek, what is your first thought?
.
If we ignore the above, it's a beautiful shy cat living in a forest which never disturbs humans unless it is disturbed a lot. It's not just this animal, every being in the wild is the same. They never want to be disturbed.

It’s been a year that I’ve got some pretty good photos of the milkyway. And, it was just 2 hour visibility before the sunrise. You can see the golden light peeping out at the left bottom of the frame. :)

Rusty-spotted cat!

What, surprised? Yea! It was taken at the Chennai outskirts. This is the first photographic and nearest record to Chennai.

Like every other weekend, we (with @the_nocturnal_guy_ and @rajaframes ) were just roaming the unexplored parts of Chennai from 8:00PM. Obviously, night is the only unexplored time-period if you’re living near a city. That particular night, we covered several rural parts and had some luck with common snakes crossing roads and few nocturnal birds.

It was around 03:40AM, we were near a village. That is when its eyes reflected, while it was gracefully sitting over a small rock. And voila! We found it! Just FOUR photos! Avlodhaaa! Then, it went into the bush and we weren’t able to find it. But, we were totally satisfied that we’ve got to see the beauty at least once!

And Guys, before you ask me the exact location, lemme tell you this. I’m not gonna share it. Because this cat is just super rare and it is one of the favourites for poachers.

Did I forget to mention that this is the world’s smallest wild cat species?
